Tonight, GMA Network will be airing their newest series which will combine the fantasies of many right now, Kroean TV series, and the charm and wit of Filipino prime time with MY KOREAN JAGIYA. Headlining this innovative series are Heart Evangelista, and Korean Actor Alexander Lee.Heart Evangelista plays Gia (Guadalupe Immaculada Asuncion), a K-Series fan who wanted to see her favorite actor Jun Ho which is played by Alexander Lee. The Series will take place in the Philippines and South Korea which will make the experience more authentic.
As we know that there are a lot of Korean Series fans here and everyone is going gaga with every new show that is released. Bringing together Koreans and Filipino in one show has been done before by GMA with Koreana, an afternoon soap opera which was also marketed overseas. However, My Korean Jagiya connects more Korean characters and even took place in many places in South Korea.
Joing the Filipino cast are Janice De Belen (Aisa Asuncion), Ricky Davao (Jose/Josie Asuncion), Iya-Villania-Arellano (Kennedy Santos), Edgar Allan Guzman (Ryan Alba), and Valeen Montenegro (Cindy). Korean stars part of MKJ are Daniel Kim (Ji Ju), Michelle Oh (Madam Kim Yea-Jin) and Jerry Lee (Manager Choi), and Filipina-at-heart Jinri Park (Hannah Lee).
My Korean Jagiya is part of GMA Telebabad airing Mondays to Friday after Mulawin vs Ravena.
