Madam Inutz Is Now A Recording Artist Thanks To Wilbert Tolentino

Social Media sensation Daisy Lopez or more known as Madam Inutz, is now a recording artist with her debut single "Inutil"

This was made possible with the guidance of former Mr. Gay World titlist, businessman,  and philanthropist, Wilbert Tolentino who served as her angel and mentor to make her dream a reality.

From her humble beginnings as a live seller, she is now a certified recording artist. This made Wilbert or Kuya Will proud of his talent.

“Meron siyang unique na raspy voice. Bagay sa kanya ang mga Novelty, Rap, Hiphop, Rock, lalong-lalo ang mga Tunog Kalye. Bagay sa kanya ang mga estilo nila Sampaguita, Aegis, o Up Dharma Down." he said.

“Mabilis niyang natutunan ang mga melody ng kanta at kaya niyang baguhin ang atake ayon sa kanyang style. Sobrang professional at walang reklamo sa oras, kahit inabot ng madaling araw sa pag-shoot ng music video.” he added.

How does he describe the song? “Ang kanta na ito ay introduction ng buhay niya bilang isang Madam Inutz. Kung sino ba siya at paano siya nagsimula,” Wil answered.

Why did they chose this as her first single? “Kasi pasok sa pagkatao niya at sa kanyang boses .Higit sa lahat, pangmasa. Madali rin itong sayawin, madaling kantahin plus, mahalaga na catchy talaga ang song.”

What are the preparations made by Madam Inutz in recording her debut single which is based on her life and personality?

Madam Inutz replied, “Pinag-aralan ko muna ang tema ng lyrics. Sinuri kong mabuti bawat linya, kung sa tingin ko’y aangkop sa aking pagkatao. Tapos, pinakinggan ko ang melody sa demo nang paulit-ulit. Hanggang sa makabisado ko.

“Ilang araw din akong hindi uminom ng malamig na tubig at binawasan ang pagsigaw sa online selling para makondisyon ang boses ko. Dahil ang kanta ay may kaunting pagsigaw at kailangan ng energy."

“Hindi naman ako nahirapan sa kanta dahil sa umpisa pa lang, naisaulo ko na ito.Umabot lang kami ng mahigit dalawang oras sa recording,” she gladly responded.

What does Wilbert has to say with her new career as a singer?

“Laking pasasalamat ko sa pagkakataong ibinigay sa akin na magkaroon ng debut single sa edad kong ito, hahahaha! Sa dinami-dami ng mga mas bata sa akin na nangangarap maging isang recording artist at may sariling music video, ako pa ang napili ng Tadhana. Sa tulong ito ng aking one and only manager na si Sir Wilbert," Madam Inutz responded.

According to the composer Ryan Soto, they made sure that the genre will fit with Madam Inutz's voice and style which includes her famous catchphrases during her online selling streams such as INUTIL, GUNGGONG, OH JIIIEVA and more. They finally chose the world INUTIL as her introduction song as a recording artist.

From there, the lyrics were written based on her life as a online seller, her challenges in selling where sometimes she could not even sell a single item, though many are watching her yet did not bought anything on her livestreaming. 

There are also parts of the song that shows how people perceive her as a person, and there are also stories behind the lyrics that pertains to her past living in places like Tondo and Amadeo Cavite. She admitted that she never imagined herself to be a recording artist.

“No, hindi! Sa totoo lang, hindi sumagi sa isip ko na sisikat sa pagmumura online. Kasi ang alam ko lang, magtinda ng ukay-ukay online para lang may pambayad sa upa at panggamot sa nanay ko na na-stroke at five years nang bedridden. Pero may dumating na anghel sa buhay ko at binigyan ako ng opportunity na maging singer at recortding artist. Siyempre, hindi ko tatanggihan ang grasyang ito.”
