Jollibee Valentine’s Day screening event

Jollibee is once again making hearts flutter and emotions rise with two new true stories that aim to share the joy of love this Valentine’s Day. Kicking off the month of love with an exclusive launch event at Bonifacio High Street Cinema last February 12, mainstream media, bloggers, and content creators were treated to an advanced screening of #MyKwentongJollibee “30 Dates” and “To Love again”, directed by award-winning filmmaker Paolo Villaluna.

Hosted by Chico Garcia, the special screening of the new films set off the romantic kilig feels and sparked exciting and insightful discussions on love and life as guests were also treated to V-day gifts such as roses and chocolates, participated in a live poll on relevant and intriguing relationship topics, and serenaded by OPM icon Ebe Dancel.

But the highlight of the event was of course the #MyKwentongJollibee films, which featured inspiring stories of real couples and their respective journeys to finding joy in true love.

“We’re very excited to share with you two emotional yet feel-good stories that I’m sure all of us can relate to during Valentine’s Day. These stories are made more touching since they’re told by the actual persons, and we as viewers get to be part of their inspiring journey of finding joy. We hope that these will inspire you even more to share the joy of love this season,” said Dorothy Dee-Ching, Jollibee Philippines Marketing Head.

Ronald and Hazel, and Kristian and Coleen.

Falling more in love day by day at Jollibee

“30 Dates” tells the story of Kristian and Coleen, two friends with differing views on love. While Kristian dreamt of having his own family, Coleen believed that love only exists in TV and movies.

To celebrate her birth month, Kristian treated Coleen for 30 days at Jollibee since it has always been the latter’s favorite. Will this thoughtful and one-of-a-kind gift create sparks and give a deeper meaning to their friendship, or will it just cause an awkward situation between the close friends?

A second chance at love

“To Love Again” is the story of Hazel, a single mom who closed her heart to romance and focused all her time and attention to her child, and Ronald, who instantly developed an attraction to Hazel when they first met.

Believing she is very much deserving of love, Ronald courted Hazel and tried his hardest to prove himself despite objections from her own family. Can Hazel open her heart once more and accept him despite a painful past?
