Feel the fear and the danger of the unknown in Ishana Night Shyamalan’s horror-thriller, “The Watchers”

Director Ishana Night Shyamalan weaves fantasy and horror together in her feature debut, The Watchers, and takes us on a mystery deep within the forests of Ireland. “The movie is very much a journey of uncovering this mystery—figuring out who these creatures are and what they want. Why are they being watched?”

To set the stage where the mysterious Watchers can observe the trapped individuals, Shyamalan started to formulate the look of the coop. “The coop is such an intriguing place, and it gave us so much to play with and think about when designing the build. In essence, it’s an observatory, but it works two ways—you are looking out, but you’re also being watched,” she says. “We were really drawn to the idea of almost a play with very theatrical elements and lighting—where any moment you are being observed and on display. That can be a very uncomfortable feeling. So, we leaned into brutalist architecture, and the colors and textures associated with it.”

Dakota Fanning leans into the mysterious in horror-thriller “The Watchers”

“When Dakota came in, she brought this kind of texture with who she is, which is this effortless cool girl. She put the last piece into place and made Mina real for us,” writer-director Ishana Night Shyamalan shares how actress Dakota Fanning came into her feature debut “The Watchers” and transformed as the main character, Mina. Mina gets caught in an enclosure with a group of strangers, deep within the forests of Ireland. Mysterious creatures start visiting them every night, and the film follows the journey of unraveling what the creatures want and why the group is being watched.

Dakota Fanning reuniting with Denzel Washington in “The Equalizer 3" was a special thing to see, says director Antoine Fuqua

Since co-starring as a child actress with Denzel Washington in the 2004 film Man on Fire, Dakota Fanning has kept in touch with the veteran actor.

“I’ve known Denzel for a big part of my life,” says Fanning. “One of his daughters is one of my closest friends, so I’ve always been in the loop on what he’s up to.”

Fanning is reuniting with Washington in The Equalizer 3, where she plays a CIA analyst that Washington’s Robert McCall reaches out to for help as he begins his fight against the mafia.

REEL DEAL: The Twilight Saga - Breaking Dawn Part 2 REVIEW

The epic conclusion to the books by Stephanie Mayer about vampires and werewolves is finally here with the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2. And just like movie series finale, there are high expectations with its conclusion.

The saga was followed by a lot of women for its romantic factor (and Taylor Lautner abs) . And some men liked it for its fight scenes and gore. Lately the main stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart also gone trough controversial break up with infidelity issues which made it awkward at some point as they attend press conferences and the premiere night.

But amidst all the controversies the movie is one of the most awaited with the fate of Bella and Edward, and we can also include Jacob and Renesmee (Edward and Bella’s child).

The movie will also include vampires from all over the world with special abilities. Of course my favorites would be Alice Cullen and Jane (Dakota Fanning, one of the Volturi Vampires). It will also be the first movie that Bella will finally fight by her own as a newborn vampire.
