OPPO Celebrates Creativity and Innovation during Inspiration: Ahead

Thousands were treated to an inspiring day with OPPO’s brand ambassadors while experiencing OPPO’s latest cutting-edge devices firsthand

Leading global smart device brand OPPO recently hosted OPPO Inspiration: Ahead, an event that empowered Filipinos to live a more creative and inspired life while embracing innovative technology. The event championed different passions and fields of creativity such as fashion, photography, content creation, and music.

The event was held at the BGC Amphitheater in Taguig City last March, and allowed guests to participate in interactive booths that let them experience the capabilities of the new OPPO smartphones and devices. They also had the opportunity to meet OPPO’s ambassadors and partner content creators Magic Liwanag, David Guison, Pam Quinones, and Daryl Chang plus OPPO celebrity brand ambassadors Bea Alonzo and Nadine Lustre! Also gracing the event were OPPO AVP & President of Overseas Sales & Services Billy Zhang and OPPO APAC President Andy Shi.

ASUS Philippines has joined forces with the crème de la crème of the country’s creative elite to encourage more Filipinos to showcase the diverse beauty of local culture, as well as their unique eye for design, for the #ZenLooks competition.

Internationally acclaimed and multi-awarded industrial designer Kenneth Cobonpue and style authorities David Guison and Arisse de Santos are onboard to help amplify the call for their fellow Filipinos to join in by creating their own designs for this competition, which invites individuals to submit an original case design for the ZenFone 2 inspired by the Philippines’ national colors.

Fashion blogger David Guison on a habit that never goes out of style

He was a painfully shy student who refused to head group projects in class and stayed glued to his seat unless called to recite. Who would have thought that the self-effacing David Guison would eventually acquire an itinerant lifestyle as an acclaimed fashion blogger – getting major exposure in the style industry and going on exciting adventures to pursue his passion?

Blogging, however, isn’t quite new to the 23-year-old multimedia arts graduate from the De La Salle-College of St. Benilde. David actually started writing personal blog entries way back in high school and sustained his interest in it after fulfilling a photo blog requirement in college. “It was a pre-requisite for us to have a blog tapos ayun na-enjoy ko siya, tapos tinuluy-tuloy ko na. I started getting readers and then people were e-mailing me na ‘why don’t you post your outfits?’ ” David recalls. “And then when I posted an OOTD (outfit of the day), ‘dun na siya nagkick-off, so I decided to pursue style blogging.”
