Leading power tool brand Bosch recently concluded the Bosch User Conference at MC Home Depot in Bonifacio Global City. Industry professionals, traders, dealers and users were gathered to see the latest from Bosch’s vast portfolio of portable handyman solutions and accessories from Bosch Professional, Bosch Cordless Tools, Bosch Measuring Tools and Dremel Rotary Tools. Held for the first time, the Bosch User Conference aims to build strong connection and support to its consumers through an educational platform that will help them maximize the capabilities of innovative power tools.

Bosch ambassadors and end-users Sonny Limjap, Paco Pili, Kenny Ansis, Dennis Mendoza and Ricky Ongkeko led interactive demonstrations and hands-on activities on woodworking, upcycling, DIY, and construction with the use of Bosch and Dremel rotary tools and measuring tools.

Bosch brings sought-after innovations to PhilConstruct 2016

German industrial and technology solutions provider Bosch showcased its extensive portfolio of innovative products for construction and security systems in the recently concluded PhilConstruct

2016 held at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Pasay City. Power tools from Bosch Professional and Dremel, as well as Video Surveillance systems, Fire Alarm & Evacuation systems, Public Address and Conference systems were on spotlight in the country’s biggest construction convention that gathers industry professionals, construction dealers and global brands.

Bosch, the leading power tool brand, together with Dremel, the leading rotary tool brand, closed another thrilling activity that celebrated the month of Fathers. Along with handyman Dads, budding craftsmen and future engineers from Mapua Institute of Technology, Polytechnic University of the Philippines and Technological University of the Philippines dominated the recently-concluded Dremel Roadshow and Power Tools Festival at the Handyman store in Robinson’s Place Ermita, Manila.

Bosch Cordless Tools ambassador and DIY specialist Paco Pili, and Dremel ambassador Kenny Ansis led the week-long festivities and showcased their handicraft prowess with the use of Bosch Cordless Tools and Dremel Rotary tools through product demonstrations and presentations.

Dads and mechanical engineering students were treated with exciting games and cool prizes. With the use of Bosch Cordless Tools and Dremel Rotary Tools, participants were able to experience the power of the tools through hands-on activities such as Wooden Robot Making contest, Wood Engraving contest, Top Making contest and Lampshade Making contest.

Bocsh Grew by 35% in 2015!

Bosch, a leading global supplier of technology and services, closed its 2015 fiscal year with USD 50 million (45 million euros) in consolidated sales in the Philippines. Compared to the previous year, the company achieved a strong double-digit growth of over 35 percent, marking the second consecutive year in which the Philippines was one of the fastest-growing markets for Bosch in Southeast Asia. This momentum was driven by a strong performance across the company’s diverse portfolio of products offered in the country and particularly related to power tools, security systems, and the automotive aftermarket business. Furthermore, Bosch’s Drive and Control business division officially commenced operations in the Philippines in April 2015. Over the course of the year, Bosch increased its workforce in the Philippines by over 50 percent to around 460 associates.

“Along with our expansion efforts in the Philippines, I am confident that our strength in innovation will continue to drive our growth”, said Andrew Powell, managing director of Bosch in the Philippines. “It is a very exciting time to be in Southeast Asia right now, particularly with the Philippines contributing strongly to Bosch’s growth in the region.”
