Season Two Of The HBO Original Drama Series "House of the Dragon" Debuts June 17 on HBO and HBO GO

The eight-episode second season of the HBO Original drama series House of the Dragon debuts Monday, June 17 on HBO and HBO GO.

Francesca Orsi, Executive Vice President, HBO Programming, Head of HBO Drama Series & Films, debuted HBO’s first-ever “dueling” trailers at Series Mania in Lille, France on Thursday, March 21 as part of WBD's announcement that Max will launch in Europe from May 21.

Westeros is on the brink of a bloody civil war with the Green and Black Councils fighting for King Aegon and Queen Rhaenyra, respectively. As each side believes theirs to be the rightful seat on the Iron Throne, the Green and Black trailers reflect those two perspectives in separate yet complementary halves of the same story. For global audiences, “All Must Choose” their side of House Targaryen as the realm fractures in season two.

Ready Player One - Pop Culture Film Of The Year!

Nostalgia is what many films are banking on right now. And  Ready Player One is expected to bring a smorgasbord of pop culture, music, and games into one film. Based on the book by Ernest Cline, it is the ultimate fanboy movie that is now getting them hyped.

But was nostalgia the only driving force for the movie? Well we also have to consider the plot which is based on futuristic setting plus the virtual world which everyone is fighting for, the oasis. Bringing in a ton of references, cameos, and surprises, it is a Easter Egg within an Easter Egg.

With a lot at stake for the future of the oasis, the competition becomes a war for total control and half a trillion dollars, in the virtual and the real world. Wade Watts (Sheridan) becomes a prime player in the game which caught the attention of the "evil" IOI company and things get crazier in the real world. According to the book it was supposed to have more cameos but the things got complicated and they stick to what are available to use, which is actually a good thing since it will not overshadow the main story.

This is the story of three teens...the story of Greg, Earl and Rachel , a coming-of-age story set against the backdrop of high-school senior year and all the crazy journey on finally getting to know themselves fully.  The film’s head-on approach to the complex issues and emotions it tackles is not typical for teen movies wehre it is not just about first love or any of the usual things. It’s about a young man realizing what kind of person he wants to be and having to consider what could happen if one loses someone just as you’re getting to know them.

Headlining the cast of “Me and Earl and the Dying Girl” are three young actors at the beginning of their careers: Thomas Mann as Greg, Olivia Cooke as Rachel, and RJ Cyler as Greg’s best friend Earl.

The Feel Of Friendship In “ME AND EARL AND THE DYING GIRL”

Winner of the Grand Jury Prize and the Audience Award at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival, “Me and Earl and the Dying Girl” is the uniquely funny, moving story of Greg (Thomas Mann), a high school senior who is trying to blend in anonymously, avoiding deeper relationships as a survival strategy for navigating the social minefield that is teenage life.  He even describes his constant companion Earl (RJ Cyler), with whom he makes short film parodies of classic movies, as more of a 'co-worker’ than a best friend. But when Greg’s mom (Connie Britton) insists he spend time with Rachel (Olivia Cooke) – a girl in his class who has just been diagnosed with cancer - he slowly discovers how worthwhile the true bonds of friendship can be.

REEL DEAL: Fast-Rising Young Stars Fears In "OUIJA"

When casting Universal Pictures’ new supernatural thriller “Ouija,” the filmmakers worked to select actors whose performances would make the film grounded in reality. Producer Andrew Form shares: “We wanted the characters to feel like they were making real decisions. This is difficult to accomplish in a horror movie when your protagonist is walking up the stairs and you know she shouldn’t be. We wanted the audience to feel just as scared as the actors looked.”

The principal cast is composed of five friends, led by the fearless Laine (Olivia Cooke), who must confront their most terrifying fears when they unwittingly make contact with a dark power from the other side.
