GMA Network fortifies regional presence at the start of 2013

Coming from an exceptionally productive 2012, GMA Network intensifies its commitment to further strengthen its presence all over the country and to reach more viewers this 2013. For January alone, GMA is set to launch its newest originating station and takes part in three of the country's grandest festivals.

As part of the Network's aggressive regional expansion efforts, GMA-7 launches the latest addition to its growing number of originating stations in the country: GMA Northern Mindanao.

Strategically located in Cagayan de Oro, GMA Northern Mindanao is expected to service over 1,404,183 estimated television households thereby effectively widening the Network's reach in the region.

GMA Northern Mindanao, which airs starting January 28, covers parts of Bukidnon, Camiguin, Misamis Oriental, Misamis Occidental, Bohol, Lanao del Norte, Lanao del Sur, Compostela Valley, North and South Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur, Zamboanga del Sur, and Maguindanao.

La Diva Says 'Thank You' to Albay

On May 10, GMA Network is set to culminate its series of Magayon Festival activities with a bang by offering a night of soulful music with Party Pilipinas’ La Diva taking centerstage in the Conciertong Pasasalamat (Closing Concert) at the Albay Astrodome.

The La Diva – Aicelle Santos, Maricris Gutierrez and Jonalyn Viray – who are all products of GMA’s talent search Pinoy Pop Superstar, are sure to delight Kapuso supporters from the province of Albay with their topnotch production numbers.

“We are all excited to perform for our supporters in Bicol. Marami kaming inihandang mga song numbers para sa kanila na tiyak ikatutuwa nila,” says Jonalyn.

“Excited din kami that we will get the chance to promote our show, Party Pilipinas, to all Kapusong Albayanons,” adds Aicelle.

Kapuso stars receive warm welcome in Bacolod's Panaad Festival

An estimated crowd of 15,000 Negrenses were treated to an exciting Kapuso experience via the Panaad Festival: Kapuso Night held recently at the Panaad Park and Stadium in Bacolod City.

Featuring topnotch performances from RnB Princess Kyla and Steven Silva of Party Pilipinas, and Kapuso leading lady Sarah Lahbati (from the upcoming Kapuso primetime offering Makapiling Kang Muli), the event served as the highlight of the Kapuso Network’s participation in this year’s Panaad Festival.

Steven and Sarah, who are both products of GMA’s popular talent reality search Starstruck, surprised the audience with a special duet number. The sizeable crowd went agog as the two artists fueled the “kilig explosion” with their seemingly good rapport.

The excitement reached fever pitch as soon as Kyla took the stage. And the RnB Princess did not disappoint with her impressive song numbers. She also participated in the Kapuso Meet and Greet in SM City Bacolod at 4pm that day.
