Laugh out loud together in a distance via TFC’s “Stand Up for Laughs on Kumu”

Catch the stand-up comedy sets of Orca, Yuki, Ramon Cabochan, and Alex Calleja on the live streaming app Kumu

Any outbreak such as the COVID-19 pandemic causes stress to both children and adults, as stated by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). One way to cope with stress, which both CDC and World Health Organization (WHO) recommend—is to take a break from watching, listening or reading news stories about the pandemic.

So, to help you take a break and laugh-off your worries even for some time, stand-up comedians Orca, Yuki, Ramon Cabochan, and Alex Calleja come together for TFC’s “Stand Up for Laughs on Kumu”.

“Stand Up for Laughs on Kumu” is a live stream stand-up comedy show featuring four stand-up comedians who will share their stories and experiences abroad that are relatable to the overseas Filipinos.

Rex Navarrete @ Solaire Resort & Casino!

Fil-Am Rex Navarrete, the 2011 Aliw Awardee for Comedy is back in Manila for a special one night only show!

Navarrete started doing comedy at the age of 19. His portrayals, which ranged from his ESL teacher Mrs. Scott to his Uncle Boy and to Maritess the domestic worker gave him the voice to air his thoughts on issues and speak about things that otherwise wouldn’t be mentioned.

Navarrete gathers all of his material from what he calls “real Rex moments,” reality and shared life experiences. “I think everything has humor; you will always find humor. I don’t always make stuff up. Even though most of my material is geared for a Filipino audience, if you’re smart enough you’ll understand the universality of it”, he explains.

Rex Navarrete Performs In Resorts World Manila

Aside from Paris Hilton in Town, we also have a very hot personality and also a fan of Manny Pacquiao is here in town to brust Resorts World Manila into laughter with stand up comedian REX NAVARRETE. He has been in the industry for about 22 years and even funnier than ever.

Rex recently had his national debut on Lopez Tonight on the TBS network. He is the only Fil-Am to have four audio CDs and three DVDs of his various perfomances. Filipinos loved him for his acts like "Maritess and the Superfriends" and "SBC Packers". Navarrete took Manila by storm in the early 2000s and his stories of his childhood and of relatives living in the US resonated with the local crowds.  People also loved his performance when he did a sketch for Manny Pacquiao. His performances are also a favorite in Youtube and even in (believe it or not) call center training.
