Tagaytay Highlands remains to be discerning Filipinos’ top “destination estate” for the holidays

Tagaytay Highlands continues to top discerning Filipinos'
wish lists as it lines up special holiday festivities for its
residents, their families, and their guests. In this premier
mountain resort community and go-to destination south
of the metro, there will be a lot of family get-togethers
amid scenic Taal Lake yet following stringent
minimum health standards and safety protocols.

This time of the year is what Filipinos consider as the happiest. Spending the holidays away from the stressful vibe of the big city, and finding peace and serenity in the countryside, easily comes to mind. Surely none proffers this prospect more delightfully than Tagaytay Highlands, the country’s go-to holiday destination south of the metro.

The premier mountain resort community is primed to let its residents, their families, and their guests enjoy a relaxing holiday break. Whether ensconced in cozy log cabins or in luxurious, close-to-nature dwellings located in the Highlands’ exclusive residential enclaves, grownups and children will look out, not on smog-shrouded cityscapes but on stunning vistas of tranquil Taal Lake, the legendary Mount Makiling, and Canlubang Valley shimmering in the horizon.

Serenity and scenery: Summer in Tagaytay Highlands

Golfing families can head for Tagaytay Highlands’
top-notch golf courses—
the Tagaytay Highlands International Golf Club
After cocooning indoors for nearly two summers, people are raring to break free and head for the great outdoors—to a mountain aerie that spells a summer-in-the-mountains experience: multiple contrasting nature views taking the concept of play to a whole new level; where clean, crisp air, sensory indulgences, and a plethora of activities for fun and relaxation abound. And a setting that is far removed from the crowded metropolis is premier mountain resort Tagaytay Highlands, the ultimate summer destination south of the metro for affluent Filipinos.

Tagaytay Highlands offers a mesmerizing vista of scenic Taal Lake. Rising in the distance is Laguna’s mythical Mt. Makiling while Canlubang Valley shimmers in the horizon. Such scenes of uncommon beauty invoke a calm return to one’s self amid these tranquil views.

Tagaytay Highlands’ immersive experience ramps up digitalization efforts

Families who are looking at investing in an alternative
primary home that they can retreat to from the
widespread contagion in the metro, would do
well to choose The Garden Villas at Horizon Terraces.

When the world was thrust into a health crisis early in 2020, it left people sheltered in place. Yet, even as most stick close to home, the property market continues to thrive. Amid quarantine restrictions, real estate, deemed one of the best-performing industries during the pandemic, has readily transitioned to the digital space.

Tagaytay Highlands conforms to the new normal as it accelerates its digital conversion. Discerning homebuyers are now given online access to experiential journeys that allow them to ‘explore’ potential alternative primary homes without onsite visits.

The country’s premier mountain resort complex has developed a 360° Virtual Walkthrough of its Horizon Terraces Garden Villas’ Glendale model unit, a contactless solution for attending to customers on their property-prospecting journey. With just a few clicks of the mouse, this immersive virtual tour allows one to check out all rooms and living spaces in the model home as if they were actually standing there.

Tagaytay Highlands’ ideal work-from-home setting paints picture of safe telecommuting

With its tranquil and calming environment set amid wide
open spaces, Tagaytay Highlands’ low-density communities
serve as a natural therapeutic refuge when
physical distancing is called for.

Imagine being transported from your sleek corner office in a posh high-rise to a tranquil work-from-home (WFH) setting with a lavish nature view. Then visualize yourself heading for a game or two at an exclusive golf course or sweating it out at the gym, then bonding with family and friends at a specialty restaurant. All these just a brisk walk or short drive from your beautiful home where you’ve just wrapped up a productive workday. No traffic to endure, no smog or pollution to breathe in—just clean, crisp mountain air and a year-round cool breeze.

Picture this idyllic setting as the country continues to adapt to the ‘new normal’. With the health situation showing little or no sign of abating anytime soon, well-heeled Filipinos are seeking safe havens for their families and finding these down south in Tagaytay Highlands, an exclusive mountain resort complex just 90 minutes’ drive from the metropolis.

Nob Hill’s modern minimalism at Tagaytay Highlands

No other trend has proved to be a lasting legacy than the beauty of minimalism. As most remain holed up in their homes, unable to relish the indulgences we used to take for granted, we realize all the more that the key to survival (and happiness, even) in these trying times is realizing what is most essential.

The minimalist movement has been highly influential in corporate architecture and product design since 2010. Minimalist architecture favors neutral palettes of brown, beige, white, and gray; clean straight lines; well-defined rectangular shapes; long and wide eaves; and design that lets natural light in. This has also been dubbed the millennial aesthetic: simple and orderly, yet classy.

Tagaytay Highlands: A Haven For Golfers

The Tagaytay Midlands Golf Club is home to an 18-hole
championship golf course that offers lush nature views
including the Taal Lake and Volcano.
After a stressful workweek dealing with chaotic traffic and other woes of city living, most people just want to spend a relaxing weekend in the company of family and friends. Few, however, can beat the enthusiasm of avid golfers for finding the perfect getaway, one that exudes the luxury and elegance of a premier mountain resort community and provides access to a championship golf course set amidst breathtaking views.

This is why Tagaytay Highlands has become the favorite weekend destination of golfers and their families, where they spend time with other residents and guests who share the same passion for the sport.

There’s no better time than 2014 for investors to acquire properties in the Philippines—experts are projecting continuous and robust growth for the real estate sector for the rest of the year. For example, the Urban Land Institute’s survey ranks the Philippines as fourth in Asia-Pacific property investment prospects, after Tokyo, Shanghai, and Jakarta. In the residential and leisure property sector, Anya Resorts and Residences in Tagaytay represents one of the prime investment opportunities. It combines a boutique resort sanctuary with luxury residential units; and offers investors not only luxurious vacation homes with a wellness component, but also the opportunity for ROI and profit. Some of the advantages that an investor in Anya will enjoy include:

Anya Resorts and Residences: First in luxury, first in assured investment returns

For many years, no other resort development in the Philippines could truly prove its claim to be world-class—until now. Anya Resorts and Residences is the first truly world-class resort in the Philippines, located just one and a half hours away from Metro Manila, according to luxury resort maven Andrew Sparrow, who is part of the team of international experts responsible for the design and development of Anya.

“Filipino hospitality is world-renowned. Despite this, there is no Philippine chain of hotels that can truly be called a world-class resort. Anya aims to tap resources within the country and create a world-class Filipino resort brand infused with the warmth and hospitality that Filipinos are known for,” said Sparrow.

Meeting the Puzzle Queen at the Puzzle Mansion

Puzzles may not be the in thing in this generation with the emergence of electronics and gaming. Some may find them more like kids' play or not challenging to many, but how many of us can even assemble a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle? How about 3000, 5000, or 32000?

Puzzling as it may seems but jigsaw puzzles is now an art and this is proven by a proud Filipina who now holds the Guinness world record for the largest collection of jigsaw puzzles which was awarded last 2012, Mrs. Gina Gil-Lacuna.  Her passion for this kind of hobby started 27 years ago and has made 1028 puzzle collection (as per record with Guinness and still adding up new ones). This one of a kind collection is not exclusive with the regular jigsaw puzzles but a whole lot more.

Don't panic, I'm still the same crazy blogger you know for this blog, but I am now trying to trying a better lifestyle with the help of my experience in my first Glamping Experience at the Nurture Spa Village in Tagaytay City.
