Mang Kepweng returns this Christmas Day!

Unleash the Mang Kepweng in you this holiday season

The most awesome comeback of the year happens this Christmas Day, December 25 in ‘Mang Kepweng: Ang Lihim ng Bandanang Itim,’ an official entry to the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2020.

From the success of its prequel ‘Mang Kepweng Returns’ in 2017, Vhong Navarro as Mang Kepweng takes on new journey and challenges as villain Maximus Tolonges (played by Joross Gamboa) uses the power of the black bandana he stole from the kingdom of Engkadia to sow terror all over the place.

While only Mang Kepweng and his red polka dot bandana, the counterpart of the black bandana, can stop Maximus, the magic of red polka dot bandana slowly diminishes due to his worsening attitude—he becomes boastful as he gets people’s attention because of his healing power. With the help of his new friends, Mang Kepweng finds the three ingredients that will bring back the power of his bandana but the journey becomes harder as they encounter the elements that try to stop them.

Aiai Delas Alas' New Business Venture In "Toda Max"

Making another appearance on this Saturday’s (August 10) episode of the hit comedy series “Toda Max”, Ai-Ai delas Alas’ character Ate Vangie has a new business to handle as she pulls all the strings she can just to pay off the loans she has carried on from past expenses.

Putting up a tricycle wash business with her cousin Justin (Vhong Navarro), Ate Vangie converts their existing restaurant into a venue for her to gather up enough cash to pay off the debts she had made. Still needing to pay Justin off, as well as other relatives she had borrowed money from, she does everything that she can to attract customers—even to the extent of getting a couple of bar girls to boost the business.

Will Ate Vangie’s efforts to promote the bar work for her or against her? At the end of the day, will she finally be able to pay off all the debts she had made to support her lifestyle?

Find out on this week’s episode of “Toda Max”, airing on Saturday (August 10) on ABS-CBN Channel 2 after “Maalaala Mo Kaya”.

Vhong Dreams of Becoming The Next Kevin Kosme

Justin (Vhong Navarro) dreams up and plays out his favorite character, Kevin Cosme—one of Comedy King Dolphy’s signature roles, as this week’s episode of “Toda Max” takes on its own version of “Home Along Da Riles”.

Justin had recently been watching “Home Along Da Riles” on Jeepney TV in tribute to the Comedy King. Finding himself completely engrossed in the show, he eventually drifts off, dreaming—and in a strange turn of events, he comes to realize that he has actually turned into Kevin Kosme.

Meanwhile, Lady G (Pokwang) is in contact with a negotiator, Miss Abad (Kaye Abad), who brings along her faithful right hand (Vandolph) to Beverly Gils. Miss Abad proposes to increase productivity in the area by turning it into a commercial space. However, for that to happen, Beverly Gils would have to be demolished.

Justin Meets Isabel's Other Man In "Toda Max"

Sticky situations are coming up for Isabel (Angel Locsin) on this Saturday’s (July 13) episode of “Toda Max”, as she and Justin (Vhong Navarro) cross paths with a boy from Isabel’s past who promised to marry her.

Joe (Zanjoe Marudo) is a childhood friend of Isabel. Before parting ways, he told her that when they see each other again, he would ask for her hand in marriage.

An adventurous person, Joe just happens to be the opposite of Justin—he is exciting and spontaneous and Isabel happens to find that very attractive. What’s more is that they run into each other during a trip to an amusement park, and that just makes the meeting all the more romantic.

Will Isabel and Joe fall for each other this time around? Are Joe’s old feelings strong enough to stand true even if Justin is already in Isabel’s life? To add to that, how can Justin even compete with old promises?

Tune in to “Toda Max” this Saturday (July 13) to find out, airing on ABS-CBN Channel 2 after “Maalaala Mo Kaya”.

MUSIC LYF: The Gangnam Show in Manila Moved To February

To clear speculations, the so called "end of the world" date has nothing to do with the phenomenal Korean superstar Psy which was scheduled to have a concert on December 20, 2012 at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds. The Gangnam Show: Psy Live in Manila is rescheduled to February of 2013 due to logistical issues. The concert features Psy plus many local acts  like Anne Curtis, Vhong Navarro, Chocoleit, Pokwang, Pooh, K Brosas, Wally Bayola and Jose Manalo, Ate Gay and Ms. Ai Ai Delas-Alas that will make it a big Gangnam style party. However due to this reason, we may have to wait until next year to have that big dancing party here, but rest assured that Psy will be here and ready to rock Manila.
