Teleperformance in the Philippines, a global leader in digital business services, celebrated outstanding TP women as part of its International Women’s Month Summit, the highlight of the company’s month-long Women’s Month celebration. 

Affirming its dedication to gender equality and women's empowerment in the workplace, TP marked the event with a ceremonial signing of Teleperformance’s commitment to the Women's Empowerment Principles (UN Women and UN Global Compact). Chief Executive Officer Rahul Jolly was joined by senior leaders, TP Women leaders, and all summit participants in this public pledge of support.

Women on Wheels initiative aims to foster women empowerment

foodpanda logistics is celebrating Women's Month by granting livelihood training and packages for women from their Ka-panda delivery fleet.

The program was officially launched during International Women’s Day and is dubbed as Ka-pandaBIZ: Women on Wheels (WoW). The beneficiaries were selected to undergo training to start their own small business and receive a business capital worth Php 100,000.

At foodpanda Philippines, women account for over 50% of the total employee population, many of which are at the helm of their teams. Female employees thrive as leaders at foodpanda as they make up around 40% of the company’s senior managers and 45% of its team leaders. Around 54% of other managerial level roles are also taken up by women.

Among the different departments of foodpanda, the commercial team has the most women employees. Almost 64% of the team, which handles sales operations, account management, and partner vendor acquisition, is made up of women. The same team is considerably one of the obvious drivers of growth in the company as more customers and businesses sign up on the foodpanda platform.

Celebrating the #WomenOfLRT1

All-women teams run McDonald’s stores in the Philippines for International Women Day

Female employees of McDonald’s Philippines’ took over all McDonald’s restaurants nationwide as they led store operations in celebration of International Women’s Day. The initiative aimed to demonstrate the strong representation of females in McDonald’s Philippines’ workforce.

To date, women employees account for 55% of McDonald’s Philippines’ total workforce, exceeding global benchmarks for a gender-equal workforce. Across over its 670 the restaurants, an average of 56% of Restaurant General Managers and 62% of service crew are women.
