Horror Blockbuster "IT Chapter Two" Officially Arrives in PH Sept 4

Warner Bros. Pictures Philippines has just confirmed that the eagerly anticipated horror thriller, “IT Chapter Two” will arrive in local cinemas on Wednesday, September 4th (which is earlier than previously announced).

Fans are advised to go to the social pages and websites of their favorite cinemas for the start date of advanced ticket-selling.

“IT Chapter Two” is Muschietti’s follow-up to 2017’s critically acclaimed and massive worldwide box office hit “IT,” which grossed over $700 million globally.  Both redefining and transcending the genre, “IT” became part of the cultural zeitgeist as well as the highest-grossing horror film of all time.  

Because every 27 years evil revisits the town of Derry, Maine, “IT Chapter Two” brings the characters—who’ve long since gone their separate ways—back together as adults, nearly three decades after the events of the first film.  

Austin Butler is Cast as Elvis Presley in Baz Luhrmann's Film About the Global Icon

Warner Bros. Pictures announced today that, after an extensive search, Baz Luhrmann has cast Austin Butler as Elvis Aaron Presley in the director’s upcoming film about the seminal legend.  The announcement was made today by Toby Emmerich, Chairman, Warner Bros. Pictures Group.

In the movie, Oscar-nominated filmmaker Luhrmann (“The Great Gatsby,” “Moulin Rouge!”) will explore the life and music of Presley, through the prism of his complicated relationship with his enigmatic manager, Colonel Tom Parker, played in the film by two-time Oscar winner Tom Hanks (“Forrest Gump,” “Philadelphia”).  The story will delve into their complex dynamic spanning over 20 years, from Presley’s rise to fame to his unprecedented stardom, against the backdrop of the evolving cultural landscape and loss of innocence in America.

The New Line Cinema drama “The Good Liar” pairs Oscar winner Helen Mirren (“The Queen”) and two-time Oscar nominee Ian McKellen (“Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring,” “Gods and Monsters”) on the big screen for the first time.  

Bill Condon, the Oscar-winning screenwriter of “Gods and Monsters,” directed and produced the film from a screenplay by Jeffrey Hatcher (“Mr. Holmes”), based on the widely acclaimed novel by Nicholas Searle.  

Wilson, Farmiga Return as the Warrens in "Annabelle Comes Home"

The Conjuring Universe headliners Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga reprise their roles as demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren in New Line Cinema’s new horror thriller “Annabelle Comes Home.” 

Wilson says he and co-star Farmiga “love playing these roles because we know we’re going to get to do some high drama with some high level scares, dealing with some pretty dark things, but also find all those moments to show that other side to this couple.  In this film especially, our part is largely that of loving parents to Judy.”

"Godzilla II: King of the Monsters" Rules PH Box-Office with P83.6-M in 5 Days

Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures’ Godzilla II: King of the Monsters roared at the box office this weekend, debuting on top of new titles.  This was announced today by Francis Soliven, General Manager of Warner Bros. Philippines.

The film stomped the competition, earning P83.6-million, and topping the P77.8-million bow of 2018’s Kong: Skull Island, its most recent predecessor in the Monsterverse.

Story of a Boy's Stolen Life Revealed in "The Goldfinch" Trailer

Warner Bros. Pictures and Amazon Studios have released the first trailer for their highly anticipated film adaptation of the globally acclaimed best-selling novel, “The Goldfinch.”

Filming Underway on Christopher Nolan's "Tenet"

Filming has begun on Warner Bros. Pictures’ “Tenet,” being directed by Christopher Nolan.  

“Tenet,” which is being filmed on location across seven countries, is an action epic evolving from the world of international espionage.

Nolan is directing from his own original screenplay, utilizing a mixture of IMAX® and 70mm film to bring the story to the screen.
