T.G.I. Friday’s Kicks off Summer with a New Bar Menu

Introduces Stars Behind the Bar and Red Card

T.G.I.Friday’s, the first American casual dining chain in the Philippines is celebrating a sizzling start to the summer with a new bar menu. The updated bar list includes a wide array of affordable drinks such as the Ultimate drinks, beer on tap at P60, local bottled beer at P75 and beer by the bucket for only P350. Cocktails will also be available starting from P125, and includes staples such as the Long Island Tea, Bahama Mama, Kamikaze, and 77 Sunset Strip. To cool down for the scorching summer, the Refillable Mojito is also continuing its run as one of bar’s most popular offerings, available everyday at only P295. 

The new beverage menu features concoctions to fit every bar personality, whether you’re the life of the party or just winding after work. To entice patrons to let loose and enjoy the distinct T.G.I.Friday’s atmosphere, the T.G.I Friday’s Red Card will be available by first week of April, which is a passport for a buy-one, take-one on cocktails every Thursday. The cards will be distributed free of charge to dining guests. 

Adding to the excitement is the launch of the first leg of the Stars Behind the Bar tour, which includes a showcase of celebrity bartenders, free drinks, and a chance to learn basic flairs and cocktails.

The featured bartenders went through a rigorous round of auditions, with most being previous participants of the renowned Shake, Rattle, and Pour Bartending Championship, which will be on its 18th year in 2013. T.G.I.Friday’s is known for popularizing flair tending, and hosted the first known flair bartending competition in the US in 1985. Patrons are also known to flock the bar to watch bartenders dazzle with flips, flairs, and tricks before drinks are delivered with a personalized touch.

The T.G.I.Friday’s Stars Behind the Bar tour is in partnership with Stolichnaya Vodka. MUSIC LYF: Queen of Disco, Gloria Gaynor visits the Philippines

Gloria Gaynor, American singer and the Queen of disco and soul, is delighted to visit her Filipino fans as ATG Entertainment Productions presents “GLORIA GAYNOR: I Will Survive” on April 5, 2013 at the NBC Tent, Global City Taguig and on April 6, 2013 at the AUF Sports and Cultural, McArthur Highway, Angeles City.

Popularly known as an icon of the disco era, Gaynor will surely be treating you with some of her most recognized international successes. Known for her Broadway-style overture of her hits including her disco hit “I Will Survive” in 1979, “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” and “I Am What I Am” will surely complete a grand production befitting for a Queen of Disco. REEL DEAL: It Takes A Man And A Woman SPOTLIGHT

John Lloyd and Sarah Geronimo fans rejoice as their very successful love team up for movie  as the lovable characters of Miggy and Laida. "It Takes A Man And A Woman" is the third intallment to their loveteam  which started with "A Very Special Love", the followed with "You Changed My Life" and both movies were box office hits.

GMA’s Temptation of Wife nears its finale

GMA Network’s top-rating Pinoy version of the hit Koreanovela Temptation of Wife concludes its run with a heart-stopping finale week from April 1 to April 5.  

The series is regarded as one of the most watched programs on GMA Telebabad, consistently posting high numbers in the ratings game since it began airing on October 29, 2012.

The entire cast led by Marian Rivera, Dennis Trillo, Glaiza de Castro, and Rafael Rosell together with Rio Locsin, Raymond Bagatsing, Michelle Madrigal, Antonio Aquitania, Ayen Munji-Laurel, Bettina Carlos, Rez Cortez, and Ms. Cherie Gil delivered commendable portrayals of their respective characters that hooked viewers from start to finish.

SM Supermalls Celebrates Easter with Carnival-themed Party

Customers who will troop to any SM mall nationwide this coming Easter Sunday, March 31, will be treated to various fun activities for the whole family as SM Supermalls holds a grand celebration dubbed “Easter Carnival”. SM malls are especially decorated for sight-seeing and photo opportunities, with giant Easter installations available for the public to enjoy. 

One of the highlights of the Easter Carnival includes “Circus Fun”, which features a circus show with magical acts and performances by clowns. There will also be a grand parade of mascots and  a costume contest where kids can play dress-up with their cutest, most colorful and wackiest Easter costumes to get a chance to win cool prizes. Egg-hunting tradition will be held through “Eggstream Hunt” in select SM malls. Another interesting event to watch out for is the “Easter Fair” where booths will be set up for fun activities and food that kids will enjoy, such as hotdogs, popcorn, ice cream, and many others. Tropicana Coco Quench kicks off summer in Boracay

Green is definitely the color of summer, as Tropicana Coco Quench, the first locally produced coconut water in a Tetra Pak packaging, ushers in the summer season at TripAdvisor’s 2013 Best Asian Beach, Boracay.

Right at the glistening white and powdery shores of the island, Tropicana Coco Quench will be holding several activities that will take off on March 27 through the 31st.  Selling and redemption booths are scattered along the three stations, and with a strong push for recycling products, Tropicana Coco Quench will give out essential summer items in exchange for empty Tetra Pak packages.

March 30 marks the Green Saturday event, which will start with Yoga wellness morning with renowned instructor, Louise Lee. There will be a sunset happy hour with overflowing coconut water, and a chill out party to cap off the night, all happening at the beachfront of Obama Grill.
