Kung Paano Ako Naging Leading Lady Goes OnStage

If you have missed the run of Dalanghita Production's Kung Paano Ako Naging Leading Lady or probably craving to have a second round of the unique musical, well there is indeed good news with the restaging of it now on a bigger venue at OnStage Greenbelt. Catch the powerful beings of Fuwerza Filipinas and Kayumangilas battle it out as well as the witty and dramatic life of Mely and her sister Viva.

At first, I was quite skeptical about the change of venue, with its staging at PETA has the perfect balance of staging, lighting and music, moving it to a different venue would mean big changes to everything and might affect viewer experience. However, all of these were extinguished when I went to see the preview at OnStage for their first public performance. It did retain the same vibe and energy like when I first saw it.

Paul Rudd Suits Up as "Ant-Man"

In Marvel’s “Ant-Man,” multi-talented actor Paul Rudd (“I Love You, Man,” “Monsters vs. Aliens”) takes on the role of Scott Lang, a master burglar who becomes a Super Hero when his mentor, the original Ant-Man Hank Pym, takes him under his wing.

Explaining the relationship between Hank Pym and Scott, Rudd says, “My character Scott has nothing to do with Hank Pym. In fact, Scott is just getting out of jail where he’s been because he used his unique skill set to take down a corporation. But Hank Pym has singled him out; he’s found out who he was and has been watching him and sets up this scenario where Scott has to resort to his old ways. Scott winds up breaking into Pym’s house to get some money to help pay child support for his daughter, who’s really the only thing he cares about. Pym arranged the whole thing and has been pulling the puppet strings."

Fiber is an essential part of an athlete’s diet, says POC nutritionist

Donning the Philippines’ colors in the biggest sporting event in Southeast Asia—the Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games), which recently concluded in Singapore—Filipino athletes showed that they can slug it out with the best athletes from neighboring countries.

The Philippines’ foremost sportsmen successfully translated these programs into more wins after improving the country’s seventh place standing during the 2013 SEA Games in Myanmar, to a sixth place finish, bagging 30 more medals in this edition of the Games.

POC enlisted the help of professionals in the fields of sports science, sports psychology, sports vision, sports rehabilitation, sports training, and nutrition in order to whip the athletes into shape and to achieve their optimal fitness level.
