In the 3D animated comedy, “The Angry Birds Movie,” we'll finally find out why the birds are so angry.


The movie takes us to an island populated entirely by happy, flightless birds – or almost entirely. In this paradise, Red (Jason Sudeikis), a bird with a temper problem, speedy Chuck (Josh Gad), and the volatile Bomb (Danny McBride) have always been outsiders. But when the island is visited by mysterious green piggies, it’s up to these unlikely outcasts to figure out what the pigs are up to.

"Money Monster" Character Posters Trick the Eye‏

The new character posters for Columbia Pictures' new suspense thriller “Money Monster,” have just been released, and they are intresting to look at.

By cutting the characters' faces in unexpected ways, the one-sheets have conveyed the chaos and tension of the story, and at the same time, echoed the visual disturbance of analog-era TV sets. The movie is about a TV show held hostage by a viewer, after all.

Directed by Jodie Foster, the film stars George Clooney, Julia Roberts and Jack O’Connell (“300: Rise of an Empire,” “Unbroken”). “Money Monster” has also been announced as an official selection of the 2016 Cannes Film Festival where it will premiere next month.

#RoRo2016 Gets Support From Stars


Back in 2010, one of the machinery which led to the victory of Noynoy Aquino is the support from a lot of celebrities from different backgrounds. Now with another Presidential elections happening in a few days, the Liberal Party campaigns Mar Roxas and Leni Robredo to be the tandem to beat this elections.

A gathering of stars again showed support for Mar-Leni at MESA restaurant along T. Morato Ave. cor. Sct. Fernandez, Q.C. dubbed “Artists for Mar”.

Conceptualized as a fitting show of support from the stars, the thanksgiving press conference was also attended in full force by the various TV networks as well as editors, columnists and writers from the entertainment media.

Hot off voicing the emotion Fear in the Oscar-winning “Inside Out” and starring in the hit comedy “Trainwreck,” actor Bill Hader now takes the role of the porcine principal, Leonard, in Columbia Pictures' new adventure comedy “The Angry Birds Movie.”

Leonard is the leader of the pigs, the one who launches the birds’ beef against the pork. Proud, egomaniacal, and vain, Leonard’s a real pig, so no wonder that he ruffles Red’s feathers a bit.

“Leonard is super charismatic – so charming that he wins over the birds straight away,” says director Fergal Reilly. “Bill created a voice that had authority, but also charm – a showman personality. Bill has a velvety quality to his voice – warm and super funny – so when Leonard arrives on Bird Island, he wins the birds over effortlessly.”

World to Celebrate "Red's Carpet Day" on May 7 for "The Angry Birds Movie"‏

To celebrate the imminent release of Columbia Pictures and Rovio Animation’s 3D CG-animated comedy “The Angry Birds Movie,” Sony Pictures will host 41 “Red’s Carpet” premiere events in 343countries around the world on Saturday, May 7.

Countries as wide-ranging as the U.S., U.K., Spain, South Africa, Philippines and Australia, destinations as remote as Montenegro and Nigeria, and many more will each do their share as the red carpet spans the globe. The film’s English-language stars, including Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Maya Rudolph, and Bill Hader, as well as the film’s musical star Blake Shelton, will celebrate at the official World Premiere in Los Angeles, California.
