They first worked together on the movie “Bakit Hindi Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo?” where Dan was the cinematographer and Antoinette was the script continuity supervisor. They went on to collaborate in film projects like “Beauty In A Bottle”, “Relaks, It’s Only Pag-ibig”, “English Only Please” and “That Thing Called Tadhana”. As their romance blossomed, so did their careers – including the complications that come with it.

Sachiko Miyashita is a Prize winner in the Andres Segovia International Guitar Competition and Tokyo Classical Guitar Competition. She is also a Recipient of Sapporo Outstanding Artist Award and Hokkaido Award for Culture.

Born in Sapporo, Japan. Miyashita began playing guitar at the age of seven.

Miyashita graduated from Hokkaido University. In 2003, she received a Diploma de Merito from Academia Musicale Chigiana in Siena, Italy. She studied guitar performance under the tutelage of great guitarists - S.Fukuda, O.Ghiglia, E.Fernandez, P.Steidl, D.Russell and F.Cuenca.

DepEd promotes positive discipline in everyday teaching

The Department of Education (DepEd), in cooperation with E-Net Philippines and Save the Children, will launch the Primer on Positive Discipline for Everyday Teaching on Monday, June 6, 2016, 9 am at the DepEd NCR Conference Hall, Department of Education-National Capital Region, Regional Office.

The Primer was created to help teachers apply a positive approach in classroom management and will be distributed to teachers nationwide. The Primer will also be used as a training tool for positive discipline.

"This Primer will be most valuable to our teachers so that they can cope with the day to day challenges of having to deal with young, active learners using positive reinforcement," Education Secretary Br. Armin A. Luistro FSC said.
