Non-Stop, Pulse-Pounding Suspense in "The Shallows"‏

From Jaume Collet-Serra, director acclaimed thrillers “Unknown” and “Non-Stop,” comes Columbia Pictures’ suspenseful tale “The Shallows” where a female surfer finds herself in the feeding ground of a great white shark.

In “The Shallows,” Nancy (Blake Lively) is seeking solace after the death of her mother. Though she’s been a driven medical student, Nancy has also found peace on a surfboard, and now has located what she’s looking for – the secret beach that was a special place for her mom. Though she knows it’s dangerous to surf alone, she risks it when her travel companion bails – even calling home to let her tight-knit family know that she has found this special place. As she surfs in this beautiful, hidden place, she thinks it will be a chance for her to reflect.

The new Encantadia has now finished with thier pilot episode, and it has been a long time since we had a prime time fantasy serye on TV and the retelling of the fan favorite show was both a challenge and an opportunity for the team who made it possible.  Since it was introduced back in 2005, it was able get high ratings and even and expanded story with Etheria and Pag-Ibig Hanggang Wakas.

Comedy is probably GMA's best asset in terms of their actors who are not only inclined with doing drama but also have a gift in making their viewers laugh. The National MILO Marathon marks the 40th year this 2016 and is now ready to start and it will take place on 14 locations starting at Dagupan City on July 17th. And just like last year, they also went with a different venue for the Grand Finals, which will be happening in Iloilo City.
