Fox Philippines Presents Strong Program Lineup With Hit Show Premieres This February

February proves to be an extremely exciting month for FOX Philippines as the channel announces the premiere of several hit US television series. Several FOX shows are returning to the channel in February, including The Walking Dead, Billions, and WWE’s wrestling programs, while new shows Legion and 24: Legacy are set to bring more prestige to an already strong lineup. To promote this huge boost in programming, FOX is teaming up with Philippine escape room game Breakout to host an experience called FOXtreme Breakout, which will bring elements of these shows closer to viewers in a unique escape room challenge that will run from February 9 to 12 at Uptown Mall in Bonifacio Global City.

The sisters were among loyal Resident Evil fans from various countries of the world who were invited by the filmmakers to play ass-kicking zombies out to infect Milla Jovovich's Alice and her team, the only remaining survivors of the undead apocalypse.

“I’m happy, because I missed acting in front of the camera. I also missed waking up early in the morning, reading scripts, and staying up late with the staff and cast,” Empress explained. “At first, I felt nervous because I didn’t know if I could still act the way I did before I took a break, but I am glad it came out naturally.”

Empress plays the role of Lenny, the foster mother of Lelet (Rhed Bustamante) and the wife of Jess (RK Bagatsing). America’s number one comedy movie for three consecutive weeks, “Why Him?” finally arrives in Philippine theatres on February 1 with an R-13 rating by the local censors board.  It’s check-the-boyfriend and impress-the-dad in this endearing family comedy starring James Franco, Bryan Cranston, Megan Mullally, Zoey Deutch and Griffin Gluck.

“Why Him?” brings Ned Fleming (Cranston) to the world of millennials when he decides to visit her daughter at her dorm over the holidays.   But even before that, life becomes a little more complicated for Ned during his 55th birthday party when Stephanie joins the event via Skype to send well wishes to her dad from her Stanford dorm room. The Flemings and their party guests are surprised by an unexpected (and naked) introduction to her new boyfriend…or at least a part of him. "Resident Evil" Finale Brings Back Ali Larter, Welcomes William Levy

Joining Milla Jovovich in Columbia Pictures' action-thriller Resident Evil: The Final Chapter are Ali Larter and William Levy who play survivors of the zombie apocalypse. They reinforce Alice (Jovovich) where the nightmare began – The Hive in Raccoon City, where the Umbrella Corporation is gathering its forces for a final strike.

Larter is back as Claire Redfield who “had a crash and now she’s become part of this last group of survivors. That’s when Alice comes in and she cannot believe that’s she been reunited with her”, says Larter, adding that her character has been fighting for her life since the third film in the franchise, Resident Evil: Extinction.
