Attended by the businessmen, tycoons from all around the country and diplomats, the first golf tournament which is powered by Tag Media Group, the mother company of Rising Tigers Magazine started with a sumpteous Filipino buffet breakfast and a welcome remarks by the grandson of former Philippine President Jose P. Laurel and part of the board of Rising Tigers, Robert Laurel Yupangco. He mentioned that the event is not just about sports but also to meet liked minded leaders to network and have fun.

New “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” movie causes “Mayhem” at U.S. box office with $43M, opens in PH August 23

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, directed by Jeff Rowe (The Mitchells vs. the Machines) and co-written by actor Seth Rogen, exceeded expectations and took in $43 million at the U.S. box office on its first five days, an impressive feat for the $70 million production. The film has also opened in a few international markets, earning a global total of $51.3 million. In the Philippines, Mutant Mayhem opens August 23. 

The animated feature, which has been well-received by critics and moviegoers alike, currently has a 96% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and a stellar A CinemaScore from audiences.

“We’re over the moon with this opening.” Chris Aronson, Paramount’s Domestic Distribution Boss, told Deadline. “We exceeded pre-release expectations with this movie which has been a labor of love for a long time.” 

This latest version of the beloved Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles features a star-studded voice cast that includes Jackie Chan, Rose Byrne, Hannibal Buress, John Cena, Ice Cube, Natasia Demetriou, Ayo Edebiri, Giancarlo Esposito, Post Malone, Seth Rogen, Paul Rudd and Maya Rudolph. The titular teenage mutant ninja turtles are voiced by real teenagers Micah Abbey, Shamon Brown Jr, Nicolas Cantu and Brady Noon.

Calvin Harris heats up the club with Sam Smith-assisted banger “Desire”

Seven years later, a second human spaceflight is launched successfully but a strong solar wind causes it to malfunction. One astronaut Sun-woo (Doh) is left stranded in space. Facing another fatal catastrophe, the Naro Space Center turns to its former managing director Dr. Kim (Sul) to help bring Sun-woo back home safely. In the film, each of the three main characters is in a setting that is different and away from the others.

Acer brings together the best musical performances for an epic experience at Acer Day 2023: #AceYourWorld concert

It was a double celebration as Acer Philippines marked Acer Day 2023 and its 20th anniversary on August 6 with an epic concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

The line-up made the Acer Day 2023: #AceYourWorld concert a dream concert, with Acer brand Ambassadors Sarah Geronimo, Donny Pangilinan, Belle Mariano, international superstar Sandara Park, and a powerhouse cast of artists that included, Sunkissed Lola, December Avenue, Zach Tabudlo, Sponge Cola, Mayonnaise, Ben&Ben, and Ely Buendia.

“We chose a line-up that Filipinos of different generations will enjoy so everyone can watch the concert and have a great time,” said Acer Philippines Senior Marketing Manager Princess Laosantos.

It was a full house at the SM MOA Arena and on Facebook, with an estimated 15,000 attendees watching in person and online.
