Veteran broadcast journalist Mel Tiangco recently renewed her long-term, exclusive contract with broadcast leader GMA Network. Tiangco anchors the Network’s banner newscast 24 Oras with equally venerable news anchor Mike Enriquez. Tiangco also serves as GMA Kapuso Foundation EVP and COO.

EVENTOLOGY: Philippine International Pyromusical Competition Championship Week

3rd international pyromusical competition 2012 featured countries that have been known to be the best in the world. For 6 weeks we have seen countries like South Korea, Malta, United Kingdom, Spain, Finland, Portugal, China, the Netherlands, and Italy.

Now on its Final week the final presentation will come from Italy (Orzella Fireworks s.r.l.) and a exhibition from platinum Fireworks from the Philippines. This is also the day where the winner of the competition will be announced. The results of the announcement will be revealed later.

Ever wondered were your foam mattress where we sleep on were made? Well that is something I just found out when I and fellow bloggers took a trip to the Uratex Plant just a few days ago. The Uratex Brand has been a household name for years and known to be the best in quality recognized not just locally but of international standards as well.

 

Uratex is under the RGC group of companies which houses not only a foam factory but a variety of products and goods as well. There are four companies comprising the RGC Group of Companies' Foam Group: Polyfoam-RGC International, Uratex Philippines, Polyflex Industries and Inoac Philippines Corp. After 4 weeks of discovering fun with coffee, we are now  done with a month of great coffee flavors of Nescafe 3 in 1 which we found the perfect blend for our individual tastes.

We started with Strong and Rich that had that bold flavor which is the choice of Arnel Pineda. Then we also tried Brown and Creamy which is yummy, the pick of Coco martin. Went Sweet and Mild with optimism and happiness. And finally tasted the original taste with Sarah Geronimo.

As Pinoys, we are mostly coffee lovers as it has been part of our daily lives. Indeed coffee grew to be the things we love to have and makes our days complete.

CCP Bobcats Are Back To Be 2012 NCC Champions!

I'm proud to say that my school, Central Colleges of the Philippines, are back with a vengeance this year to reclaim the coveted National Cheerleading Championship Title. This 2012 the CCP Bobcats, considered as one of the best cheer squads in the Philippines and even in the world. These are proven by awards that the group has received throughout the years. Note that they have competed in international competitions like in Australia and Florida bringing the Philippine Flag and showed that we too can compete in this very rigorous "sport".

The competing schools also did very well as they are also the cream of the crop from their regions. The National Cheerleading Championship (NCC) may be on its 7th season but has already brought in the best squads in the land like University of the Cordilleras (UC Jaguars), University of Perpetual Help Dalta - Altas (Altas Perps Squad), and the Far Eastern University (FEU Tamaraws). The art of cheerleading is not that easy as I have seen the CCP Bobcats on the routines at schools that they would practice even at the wee hours of the night. Same goes with other schools who also traveled far to join the competition.
