Jane Lynch Stars In ANGEL FROM HELL First and Exclusive In Asia On RTL CBS Entertainment HD

Golden Globe® and multiple Emmy® Award winner Jane Lynch returns to primetime TV in an all-new comedy, ANGEL FROM HELL. The new sitcom will premiere first and exclusive on RTL CBS Entertainment HD on 05 February, Friday at 9:00pm (8:00pm JKT/BKK). ANGEL FROM HELL centers around Amy (Lynch), a colorful, brassy woman who insinuates herself into a dermatologist’s organized and seemingly perfect life, claiming to be her “guardian angel.”

“We’re delighted to see Jane Lynch back on television and even more proud that our channel, RTL CBS Entertainment HD, will bring her new sitcom to audiences in Asia,” says Jennifer Batty, EVP Programming, RTL CBS Asia Entertainment Network.

Maggie Lawson (“Two and Half Men,”“Psych”) plays Allison, an intense, driven doctor who is sure that Amy is just an inebriated, outspoken nut, until every one of her warnings proves true. Cautioned by Amy not to tell anyone about her, Allison can’t discuss this over-the top oddball with her father and business partner, Marv, played by Kevin Pollak (“A Few Good Men,”“The Usual Suspects”), a doctor who shares an office with Allison, or her younger brother Brad, played by Kyle Bornheimer (”She's Out of My League,”“Agent Carter”), a real estate agent who lives in a guest room over her garage. As Allison tries to push Amy away, Amy makes her final

"The Big Short" Enlists Margot, Selena to Explain Complex Concepts‏

Because Paramount Pictures' “The Big Short” takes place within an industry riddled with obtuse terminology, director Adam McKay knew he needed an entertaining way to clarify some core concepts for the audience.

"People need to know this stuff in order to follow the story, but when you first hear phrases like 'collateralized debt obligation' or 'credit default swap,' they make you feel stupid and bored," McKay says. "Bankers do everything they can to make these transactions seem really complicated, so we came up with the idea of having celebrities pop up on the screen throughout the movie and explain things directly to the audience."

What To Watch This Week: Heroes, Villains, and Bad Vacations

Hey, since I have been encountering a lot of great series lately I would like to talk about them in with a weekly special I call "What To Watch This Week," it might be a long title but it self-explanatory what it features. We will be talking about upcoming series, premieres, and also movies that are coming in the next few days. Today we will be have two series that will make its way to Philippine viewers from the US.

Legends of Tomorrow

The DC Comics universe is indeed a vast multiverse to get into, and while we are waiting for Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice, they paved another live action collection of heroes (and villains) with Legends of Tomorrow. From the makers of Arrow and The Flash, it spins off from the crossover series which introduces the heroes Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) , The Atom (Brandon Routh), White Canary (Caity Lotz), Firestorm (Victor Garber as Professor Martin Stein and Franz Drameh as Jefferson "Jax" Jackson), Hawkman (Falk Hentschel), and Hawkgirl (Ciara Renée). They are also joined by "former" Villains Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) and Heatwave (Dominic Purcell).

Michael Bay Transforms "13 Hours" Into an Epic Action-Adventure"

From “Armageddon” to “Pearl Harbor” to the “Transformers” franchise, dircetor Michael Bay has spent his 20-year career giving human stories the epic, action-adventure treatment. Together, his 11 films have grossed a staggering $5 billion-plus, making him the fourth-most-successful director of all time.

Now, Michael Bay brings audiences Paramount Pictures' "13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi," the gripping true story of six elite ex-military operators assigned to protect the CIA who fought back against overwhelming odds when terrorists attacked a U.S. diplomatic compound on September 11, 2012. When everything went wrong, six men had the courage to do what was right.
