PH Riding Communities Strengthen Camaraderie, Experiences Joys of Riding

The riding communities in the Philippines have been growing as both riders and riding enthusiasts share and spread their love for motorcycles. Scattered as these groups may be, they all are thrill seekers holding the same enthusiasm and passion for road adventures.

To provide a venue where riders and enthusiasts experience the joy of riding, Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI,) the number one motorcycle manufacturer in the Philippines, held the Honda Riders Convention 2019 –Luzon Leg at the Tagaytay International Convention Center. The event gathered 3,000 Honda riders and enthusiasts in more than 50 clubs for a day of fun-filled activities that fuels camaraderie and support.

Music Artists Rock the Philippine Premiere of "Yesterday"

They rocked, we rolled.  Pinoy music artists celebrated Beatlemania in the star-studded Philippine premiere of Universal Pictures’ Yesterday, held recently at the Gateway Atmos Cinema in Quezon City.   

Guests came for the love of the Fab Four whose timeless music figures prominently in the acclaimed romantic comedy starring Lily James, newcomer Himesh Patel and pop superstar Ed Sheeran.

With more than 70 music showcases spanning bar performances, concerts, railways jams, multimedia guestings, busking sessions, songwriting workshops, theatrical specials, and out-of-town gigs, this year’s edition of Linggo Ng Musikang Pilipino (LMP) is proud to present what may possibly be its biggest and most diverse festival lineup yet.

Presented by Organisasyon ng Pilipinong Mang-aawit (OPM) and National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), the annual music festival aims to promote the awareness and appreciation of all forms of Filipino music through a variety of on-ground and online platforms starting July 20 onwards, happening in different music venues nationwide from Metro Manila to Davao City.

EYLA supports Kultivate Labs, joins UNDISCOVERED SF this Saturday

ABS-CBN and UGAT Foundation’s EYLA (Epic Youth Leadership Awards) – the Gawad Geny Lopez Jr. Bayaning Pilipino Award category for organizations with proven accomplishments of e-movers, innovators and change-makers serving the youth in the U.S. and Canada -- will be at UNDISCOVERED SF on Saturday as it supports Kultivate Labs which won second place at the EYLA 2019 awards ceremony in April at Google Cloud in Sunnyvale. 

Kultivate Labs – which conceived and produced UNDISCOVERED SF with SF event producer Make it Mariko -- is a non-profit business accelerator focused on vitalizing the economic activity of Filipinos and increasing public awareness of SOMA Pilipinas – the Filipino cultural heritage district in San Francisco. The Clash' alumna Kyryll launches debut single Silent Rumblings'

The Clash has been a great platform for singing sensations, and Kyryll is one of them. Known to be the Soul Princess, she earned her title because of her sound which is distinctively mellow and soothing. Now after the show she is now finally found her musical home with AltG Records.

Hailing from Iloilo, she is also known as the "Millennial Chick ng lloilo" and made her hometown proud as she became one of the finalists of the singing competition. Being part of AltG Records as their initial talents is both an opportunity for her to shine as an individual singer but also gives her a little pressure to stand out as she also represents the label as their initial roster.
