CSMC celebrates founding anniversary with 48 years of caring for the Filipino

Cardinal Santos Medical Center (CSMC) commemorated its 48th founding anniversary last Aug. 15, Monday with the theme, “48 Years of Caring for the Filipino”. This milestone was celebrated alongside the grand opening of the extension wing on their 7th floor, which features its new and improved Lifestyle and Wellness Center and areas for the Nursing Services office and Cardiac Rehabilitation.

The new Lifestyle and Wellness Center brings together some of the hospital’s services into one area to cater to the needs of discerning patients. It offers services for Executive Check Up, Men’s and Women’s Wellness, and many more. The center aims to encourage more people to visit the hospital for preventive healthcare with the guidance of CSMC’s experts.

With more Filipinos relying on e-commerce to get their essentials, this has also increased the need to protect them due to the growing number of fraudulent activities happening in the digital space. In a Consumer Pulse Survey conducted by TransUnion in February 20221, of the over 1,000 Filipino adults polled, 53% said they were targeted by fraudsters in the previous 3 months.
