PREMIERE Condoms Sets Guinness World Record on World AIDS Day

Thousands gathered at the UP Sunken Garden on World AIDS Day as PREMIERE Condoms, in partnership with Watsons, successfully achieved a Guinness World Records title for the Largest Condom Donation in One Hour during its Protected & Proud event.

The record-breaking attempt was officially confirmed onstage by a Guinness World Records adjudicator as packets of donated condoms were tallied and verified before a cheering crowd.

“As the official adjudicator, my job here today was to measure, to officiate, and to judge.  The record to beat was 2,500 condoms. Together with our auditing staff, we counted a total of 13,312 condoms making a new Guinness World Records. Congratulations, you are Officially Amazing,” said Justin Patterson, adjudicator of the Guinness World Records.

The event aimed to promote safe sex awareness and HIV prevention at a time when HIV cases in the country are rising, with all donated condoms set to benefit UP Babaylan, the country’s longest-running LGBTQIA+ student organization. The Department of Health reported 5,583 HIV cases in the third quarter of this year, a 22 percent increase from the same period in 2024, according to the Philippine HIV and AIDS Surveillance System. Of the new cases, 895 patients, or 16 percent, were already at the advanced stage at diagnosis. Daily average cases also rose from 50 last year to 61 this year.

“This historic moment strengthens our mission of educating young Filipinos on HIV prevention and protection. It shows what’s possible when organizations and communities work together,” said Drei Ledesma, Punong Babaylan of UP Babaylan.

The successful attempt reflected the growing public support for open conversations on sexual health.

“Our partnership with Watsons and UP Babaylan is a reflection of DKT Health’s commitment to community-focused action. For us, sexual wellness goes beyond the product; it means actively supporting organizations on the ground who are fighting HIV stigma, providing essentials like condoms, and driving important education and awareness initiatives. We're all for normalizing conversations on sexual wellness and protection among young people, as well as making essentials like condoms easily accessible. This is about building confidence in our choices – being both protected and proud,” said Denise van Dijk, President and CEO, DKT Health, Inc.

The night also featured performances by Drag Race Philippines Season 3 winner Maxie Andreison and OPM singer Maki, drawing thousands of attendees to the advocacy-driven concert. Both were very delighted to be part of an event that brought music and awareness together.

By the end of the program, organizers declared the event a success both in attendance and in its message to encourage safer sex practices and continued HIV education efforts.

PREMIERE Condoms was born for a new generation of Filipinos – one that embraces pleasure, exploration, and confidence. Launched by DKT Health, Inc., it redefined what a condom brand could be: bold, elevated, and built on pleasure as much as protection.

Today, PREMIERE Condoms stands for intimacy without compromise. Because pleasure deserves to feel premium.

PREMIERE Condoms is available in a full range of variants: Dotted, Ultra Thin, Cool Watermelon, Air, Nice & Tight, Cruise Control, Glow, and Earthquake.
