Summer may bring in the heat, but its also a perfect time to go more outside and do more sports especially for the kids. Soccer is a growing popular sport in the Philippines with the rise of the Philippine Azkals in the international football scene. And this cause the boom of Football schools over the country

. 

With more and more kids embracing this high action sport, it would be possible that we can make future soccer stars like Phil and James Younghusband. Last April 21, Tribeca Private Residences conducted their first Invitational Football Festival in cooperation with Chelsea FC Soccer School which conducts their matches and practice at their Football field. Korean pop superstar Psy is Asiana’s new ambassador

Psy, who skyrocketed to worldwide fame with “Gangnam Style,” has signed as Asiana Airline’s (OZ) new honorary ambassador.  The Korean pop star, whose real name is Jae-Sang Park, has been credited for boosting Korean pop music or K-POP’s popularity on a global scale, and helping to widely promote Korea as an international brand. 

Under the agreement, Asiana will fly Psy in top class seats to any Asiana destination worldwide for one year.  In turn, the pop star will support Asiana’s internal corporate events, PR and marketing projects, and through video shoots as Asiana’s honorary ambassador for social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook.

PAGCOR Donates 2 Billion to DepEd

PAGCOR  donated  PhP 2Billion to DepEd intended to build 2,000 classrooms. This is in response to the call of DepEd to fill in the shortages  of classrooms in public schools nationwide. DPWH shall be in-charge of the construction of the classrooms because of their expertise in the construction of highways, buildings and other infrastructure facilities. The selection of the school beneficiaries willl be determined by PAGCOR in compliance to the list of shortages to be provided by DepEd.

The funds will be turned over to DPWH for and in behalf of DepEd for the construction of classrooms. Target date of completion is December 2014
