Corey Stoll is "Ant-Man" Villain Yellowjacket‏

Actor Corey Stoll (“The Strain,” “House of Cards”) is poised to bring a newly realized villain to the Marvel Cinematic Universe when he becomes Darren Cross aka Yellowjacket in Marvel’s “Ant-Man.”

Stoll explains, “There is a Darren Cross in the comics but he’s really not related to this and then there is a Yellowjacket but that was just one incarnation of Hank Pym, so this is its own thing and it’s an incredible license to be able to create a unique villain.”

Stoll was excited by the idea of playing a villain like Darren Cross because “the character is a great excuse for being able to be really broad and playful.” “Darren has this idea that he needs to be this salesman and this larger-than-life figure, so he goes at it but he keeps falling short,” elaborates Stoll. “It’s a really fun character to play because you have that opposition of the very scared little boy inside and the very boastful, industrial captain on the outside.”

Athletes overcome rains at 39th MILO Marathon Baguio race

Runners prove they can overcome challenges as they conquered the wet roads at the 39th National MILO Marathon Baguio qualifying leg on Sunday. The rains were no match for veteran marathoner Julius Sermona and up-and-coming runner Gretchen Felipe, who placed first in the 21K running event for the male and female categories. The inclement weather did not dampen the spirits of the almost 7,000 runners who joined the race.

Philippine Air Force member Sermona bested his rivals, finishing with a time of 01:18:44. Michael Tolac (01:19:14) and Modesto Estoesta (01:22:07) followed in second and third place, respectively.

Gary Valenciano Is The New Face Of Diabetamil

Gary Valenciano is one of the most prominent Pinoy celebrity who is known to be living with diabetes. With the disease, once diagnosed, will be a lifetime of medication and diet to prevent complications from happening. The International Diabetes Foundation has reported that the Philippines has been named as one the world’s emerging diabetes hotspot having treated 3.2 million cases in 2014 alone.

For non-diabetics, the sugar and carbohydrates in the food are transformed into glucose, which the cells absorb in the bloodstream with the help of a hormone called insulin. Diabetics do not produce or do not have enough insulin in the body and therefore cannot absorb the glucose, which creates a build-up in the blood and often leads to more serious illnesses.

A Haunting Descent Into Darkness In "THE VATICAN TAPES"

Rewriting the horror genre, “The Vatican Tapes” began when Lionsgate and Lakeshore Entertainment received the haunting spec script that took the classic horror concept of demonic possession and elevated it to an even more chilling level by introducing the anti-Christ.

Mark Neveldine directs “The Vatican Tapes” from a screenplay by Chris Borelli and Michael Martin about a woman who has been consumed by the anti-Christ.  Neveldine, having gone to Catholic school, had a personal grasp on the world of The Vatican Tapes, and after discussing the project with producers, Tom Rosenberg and Gary Lucchesi, he jumped aboard the project. “I’ve always wanted to do a possession film.  Something supernatural, but grounded in reality,” says Neveldine.
