Pinoy Actor Dave Bautista Back as Drax in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2"

For Fil-Am actor Dave Bautista (Spectre, upcoming Blade Runner 2049), returning to the Guardians fold in Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 was a chance to reprise a character he truly enjoys playing.

“What I really love about Drax is he’s not what you’d expect from reading the comics,” Bautista says. “Everybody was expecting one thing, and we gave them another. It makes it more interesting. It’s easy just to be the big guy who’s always growling at people and intimidating people. We’ve seen it a million times. But when you get the same guy who looks the same way but just says the most ridiculous things that make you laugh, it makes him more interesting.”

More heart-wrenching scenes unfold in “The Greatest Love” finale

The story of Gloria’s (Sylvia Sanchez) love for her children and the sacrifices she makes to keep her family intact in the TV series “The Greatest Love” has touched many lives and has left valuable lessons for viewers nationwide via ABS-CBN, and in key countries worldwide via TFC.

Sanchez’ character showed the strength and the unconditional love of parents for their children, proving that there is no greater love than a mother’s love. The series also became an avenue to shed light about Alzheimer’s disease, and its effect on filial relationships.  Gloria and her children Amanda (Dimples Romana), Andrei (Matt Evans), Paeng (Aaron Villaflor), Lizelle (Andi Eigenmann), and grandson Z (Joshua Garcia) continue to prove that everyone can rise from this adversity when there is love and hope in everyone’s hearts.
