Chickenjoyers celebrate their love for the Philippines’ iconic fried chicken

For the first time in Chickenjoy history, Jollibee brought together enthusiasts of its well-loved fried chicken at the day-long “I Am A Chickenjoyer Fan Meet” at Trinoma Activity Center last February 17.

This joy-filled event gathered families and friends adding up to over 1,500 individuals to celebrate their shared love for the iconic Chickenjoy.

“We are so excited to finally bring so many Chickenjoyers together in one venue and host an exciting day for them,” said Pamie Cruz, Senior Marketing Manager of Jollibee Philippines. “This is our way of thanking them for their continued support for Chickenjoy, and for spreading this love to their families and friends from all over the country and even all over the world.”

Joshua Garcia celebrates Christmas Magic as the new face of GCash for the holidays

There are still several days until Christmas, yet the season is already very much alive everywhere in the country. While the last few years may have been a little less jolly, GCash, the country’s leading e-wallet app, is bringing back the magic to the holidays with a little help from Philippine entertainment’s new leading man. 

Joshua Garcia has been heating up televisions across the country with his starring role as Brian Robles in “Mars Ravelo’s Darna” and an upcoming landmark deal for Dreamscape production’s “Unbreak My Heart”.  Adding to his already impressive list of milestones is his new role as the face of GCash to celebrate a Merry G Christmas and uphold what truly warms his heart – traditions with his family and friends. 

“The family tradition I look forward to every Christmas is our family reunion wherein my family spends Christmas together,” he said. “We take advantage of the time we can have our bonding during this season when we are not too busy with work with some games and a simple feast for the whole family.” 

Another young showbiz royalty will join the discussion tomorrow for Actors Cue Series 10.

Joshua Garcia will join the panel along with Daniel Padilla to talk about his films and process as an actor in a special edition of Actors Cue for the #ExtendTheLove initiative tomorrow May 22, Friday, LIVE 7PM at fb.me/ExtendTheLove.

They will also be in the company of Zanjoe Marudo to be moderated by filmmaker Adolfo Alix Jr. The event is for the benefit of the displaced film workers affected by the quarantine. 

#ExtendTheLove is an initiative to help displaced film workers that are affected by the lockdown because of the pandemic. It started by screening films online and then through live sessions related to film.

It was an ordinary day for pre-med student PJ (Julia) and her friends who attended to a patient that exhibits symptoms of rabies. The patient eventually dies but mysteriously comes back to life and started attacking people and turns them into a zombie.

Kapamilya star Joshua Garcia has recently concluded the Primetime series "Ngayon at Kailanman"  yet he wants to keep his presence on TV with the latest commecial with Jollibee. He now promotes Jolly Hotdog with an all out emotions and energy.

The commercial shows Joshua in a most dramatic form showcasing his prowess that earned him praise and awards. For this one, it was condensed into a one-minute commercial with a resolution with the gang as they feast on the new todo toppings, todo sarap Jollibee Cheesy Classic Jolly Hotdog.

“Todo-drama talaga ang ginawa ko sa eksena,” Joshua shared. “’Yung performance na ibinigay ko doon ay parang sa mga drama movies na napanood na nating lahat, kaya todo enjoy talaga!”

Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia are ready to take their acting prowess a notch higher as they star in ABS-CBN’s latest series offering, “Ngayon at Kailanman”, which can be seen outside the Philippines via The Filipino Channel (TFC), with its pilot episode streaming in most countries worldwide via TFC online (www.TFC.tv) on August 20.

Their team-up was first seen in the Metro Manila Film Festival entry “Vince, Kath, James” in 2016, where they were teenagers that are new with the idea of love. Their tandem has grown from teens who fell in love for the first time to two persons who had loved, been hurt, and was careful to love again, in their films “Love You to the Stars and Back” and “Unexpectedly Yours” both in 2017.

The Philippines’ breakthrough love team of Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto returns to the big screen for another exciting chapter of their blockbuster tandem in Star Cinema’s upcoming romantic-comedy entitled, ”Love You To The Stars And Back” screening in Australia and New Zealand starting September 14 via TFC@theMovies.

Written and directed by Antoinette Jadaone, who is widely recognized for changing the film landscape by introducing the ‘hugot’ or feels genre in “That Thing Called Tadhana”, ”Love You to the Stars and Back” is the much-awaited follow-up movie of Garcia and Barretto since they first teamed up in their Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2016 entry ,”Vince And Kath And James”. 


The story is centered on an eccentric and socially awkward girl, Mika (Barretto), who decides to go on a road trip with a very strange goal --– to look for aliens. In her trip, Mika accidentally bumps into a simple and good-humored boy, Caloy (Garcia), whom she chooses to give a free ride until he reaches his destination. Mika and Caloy get to know each other as the two embark on a road trip filled with adventures and misadventures. In the process, the two unexpectedly teach each other an important lesson on love and life --– one that takes most people a lifetime to learn. 

More heart-wrenching scenes unfold in “The Greatest Love” finale

The story of Gloria’s (Sylvia Sanchez) love for her children and the sacrifices she makes to keep her family intact in the TV series “The Greatest Love” has touched many lives and has left valuable lessons for viewers nationwide via ABS-CBN, and in key countries worldwide via TFC.
