Domhnall Gleeson Meets His Match in "Peter Rabbit"

British actor Domhnall Gleeson stars as the fussy landlord Thomas McGregor in Sony Pictures Animation's Peter Rabbit, the new family comedy which brings all of the audience-favorite Beatrix Potter characters to the screen in a brand-new, modern adventure.

In the film, Thomas McGregor has risen through the ranks of London’s famed department store Harrods, working diligently – some might say obsessively – towards the post of Associate General Manager, only to find that the position has gone to a man who doesn't deserve it. When he inherits the McGregor manor (and its attached vegetable garden), Thomas sees a chance to sell it in order to finance his own toy shop.

"Peter Rabbit" Launches New Trailer Today

Today, Sony Pictures Releasing International debuts the new trailer for Peter Rabbit, the upcoming feature that brings all of the audience-favourite Beatrix Potter characters to the screen in a brand-new, modern adventure. The film will be released in Philippine cinemas April 2018.

Domhnall Gleeson, from "The Force Awakens" to "American Made"

Popularly known as General Hux in Star Wars: The Force Awakens – a character he will reprise in the upcoming Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Domhnall Gleeson is an Irish actor proving to be one of Hollywood’s most versatile talents—working across a number of diverse roles.

Now, Domhnall (pronounced as Donal) Gleeson stars opposite Tom Cruise in Universal Pictures’ American Made (in Philippine cinemas September 13).

American Made is based on the outrageous (and real) exploits of Barry Seal (Cruise), a hustler and pilot unexpectedly recruited by the CIA to run one of the biggest covert operations in U.S. History. Much to the surprise of his wife, Lucy (Sara Wright Olsen), the charming entrepreneur has gone from a well-respected TWA pilot to a key figure in one of the greatest scandals in modern times. Little could they grasp that what started out as transporting contraband would lead to Barry’s help in building an army and funding a war.

Disney and Lucasfilm have released the first Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer for writer/director Rian Johnson‘s follow-up to Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

The trailer was unveiled as part of the recent Star Wars Celebration panel for the film, along with a teaser poster.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is written and directed by Rian Johnson and produced by Kathleen Kennedy and Ram Bergman and executive produced by J.J. Abrams, Jason McGatlin, and Tom Karnowski.

The film stars Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendoline Christie, Andy Serkis, Laura Dern, Kelly Marie Tran, Benicio del Toro, Carrie Fisher, and Mark Hamill.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is distributed in the Philippines by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.

With multiple wins at the recent Golden Globes and major nominations in the upcoming 88th Academy Awards,  film “The Revenant” starring Leonardo DiCaprio directed by Academy Award winner Alejandro G.
