REEL DEAL: The Healing REVIEW

This August Star Cinema brings the star for all seasons in a movie celebrating her 50th year in showbiz with the Chito Rono film THE HEALING. The film talks about the faith healers and "healing" sessions that have been a common sight in the provinces. Though science cannot explain, this would be the last resort that they would go for because of hopelessness for their sickness.

In THE HEALING you would not see other Filipino mythical creatures like the mananagal or aswang as it shocases a whole new horror with the sense of mystery for every scene. If you are observant enough, you can actually see a lot of implied messages and artistic interpretation for the scenes of the movie. Also one special cast that will also an important part of the movie is the crow (which we even discussed what is the difference between a raven). But nevertheless, its great movie break for the star for all seasons.

The Healing also features an all star cast with Janice de Belen, Mark Gil, Martin del Rosario, Jhong Hilario, Allan Paule, Cris Villanueva, Daria Ramirez, Ces Quesada, Ynez Veneracion, Simon Ibarra, Abi Bautista, Joel Torre, Chinggoy Alonso, Mon Confiado, Carmi Martin, andPokwang.

The Healing is produced and distributed by Star Cinema. Now  showing in Theaters.

Deliberation time kids!
