REEL DEAL: Alvin and the Chipmunks The Road Chip

ALLLVVIIINNN!!!

The loud yet funny scream of Dave will be heard this new year with the latest movie of the family favorite Alvin and the Chipmunks. This time, the gang team up with a very unlikely ally or enemy or probably both with The Road Chip.

The dilemma comes with the start of Dave's new life with a new girlfriend and moving from all the mishap and misadventures they have been through all the years. The last one was a shipwreck and they really get into trouble everywhere. With a suspicion of a engagement happening and to be a future brother to her son Miles, the chipmunks plan to stop the engagement from happening.
Alvin and the Chipmunks The Road Chip stars Jason Lee, Tony Hale, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Josh Green, Justin Long, Matthew Gray Gubler, Jesse McCartney, Kaley Cuoco, Anna Faris, and Christina Applegate.

Deliberation time kids!

Show summary in 3 lines: Snugg Life Chipmunks

Technical Effects: 3 out of 5 stars (technically it has less visual stunts, yet cute details on all animated characters)

Plot: 2 out of 5 stars (You might know what will be the ending from the trailer)

Acting and Actors: 3 out of 5 stars  (Though I love the new characters, it seems unbalanced with the exaggeration and subtle )

Pros:  3D, Music, New Genres

Cons:
Reoccurring gags, unbalanced energy with characters

Music and Soundtracks:  4 out for 5 stars (Probably the only reason to watch the movie is the cute rendition of hits as well as experimentation with new genres like country and EDM)

Overall: Rating 2.5 out of 5 stars (Entertaining but nothing new to bring the notch up for the franchise)
