Jessa Zaragoza Gives A Musical Treat With "I Am Me" Concert

It has been 13 years since Jessa Zaragoza had her own solo concert, and still active in showbiz with Pepito Manaloto and also an interpreter in Himig Handog for "Bumalik Ang Nagdaan" still makes her a talent that has endured the test of time. Now that she is also a wife to Siquijor Vice-Governor Dingdong Avanzado and mother to Jayda, a lot has changed, yet there are still her loyal fans and friends.

Jessa makes a musical comeback with her concert I Am Me held last January 15 at the Music Museum. Opening the set was a medley of her famous hits along with video messages from fans and friends in the industry, which one of the most touching was from the late German "Kuya Germs" Moreno.

Going back to her roots, she also made a number of songs based on music she wanted to sing again (songs from her previous albums), songs she was forced to sing (songs of her youth which defined her singing style and identity), and a tribute to Kuya Germs who discovered her via That's Entertainment. My favorite among these set of song was "Big Spender" originally sung by Shirley Bassey.

Jayda, who got a great singing voice from her parents did a special number with her mom who is channeling Britney Spears, while she sings Ariana Grande hits. She shows prowess with the songs, and has the same vibe and youth of "Ary". She will be also performing at the #3LOGY concert with The Vamps, Before You Exit, The Tide and William Singe on January 30.

Jessa (who looks and sings like recent Adele for me) also song her rendition of "Hello" and even made a fun version of thanking the sponsors in the tune of the song. Co-Actor from Pepito Manaloto, Micahel V also joined in the fun as the "inner voice" of Jessa as they sing a cool rendition of "Ikakasal Ka Na"

She also reveled her upcoming single along with the music video which was shot in Siquijor. The single will also be available in iTunes. Capping of the night is another string of hits which the audience sang along with and brought the energy on a high.

After the concert there was also a small meet and greet with her fans and friends. There were also a lot of celebrity friends like Ara Mina and Manilyn Reynes who watched her show. She affirms that the concert would be just the beginning for a future tour where most of her fans are based.

With the success of her concert, it would mean the Phenomenal Diva will make waves this 2016, and we are really excited for that.
