International Pyromusical Festival Week 2: United Kingdom and Italy

It has become a tradition during this period to watch the sky light up with beautiful fireworks with the International Pyromusical Festival which happens these season. The opening happened last week with Philippines and Portugal. And recently, Italy and United Kingdom showcased their entries for the Festival which is attended by family, friends, and also a romantic spot for lovers since it is also the love month. Now on its 7th year, it never fails to amaze everyone.


The two countries have been part of the festival for years and they have made ways to impress the crowd with the rhythmic synchronization of lights and sounds over Manila bay. With the Mall of Asia ground becomes the biggest fireworks viewing party in the country.

Italy comes first to showcase represented by Parente Fireworks which appeals with the romantic Italian feel with operatic and pop songs that defines the identity and also has the powerful feeling of love. This was intensified with the red, green and whites along with heart-shaped explosions that brought the ambiance of Venice and Rome. 

United Kingdom is represented by Pyrotex Fireworks which included the sexy track "Love Me Like You Do" by Ellie Goulding, which is a proud British track. They bombarded the sky with colors and spared no space in the sky for a grand finale. The highlight of their performance was the song "I Will Always Love You" which they may have used before but still packs a charm.



The fireworks displays and live musical entertainment are best enjoyed from the Seaside Boulevard at SM by the Bay. Tickets are priced at P1, 500 for VIP (including dinner), P600 for VIP, P300 for Gold, and P100 for silver. Tickets are available at any SM Ticket outlets and SM Mall of Asia.
