Myx TV GM Miguel Santos Honored in NAMIC 2017’s Luminaries Class

The prestigious National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC) held last week its awards luncheon as part of Diversity Week during the 31st Annual NAMIC Conference at the New York Marriott Marquis where it presented the Next Generation Leaders Awards in partnership with Multichannel News and honored NAMIC’s 2017 Luminaries Class which recognized emerging executives of color.


Named among NAMIC’s 2017 Luminaries is Miguel Santos, general manager of Myx TV, a leading English-language multicultural entertainment network owned and operated by ABS-CBN International.

“Miguel Santos, of the multicultural Asian-American entertainment network Myx TV, has 14-plus years of experience leading international broadcast media companies. Santos evolved Myx TV from a linear, music-based channel into a multiplatform entertainment network. Santos started his career with MTV Networks Asia, quickly rising up the ranks to be one of the heads of production and on-air promotions,” according to the Multichannel News article about the event.
