Train Station - A World Record Movie To Be Screened In The Philippines

I would not have imagined a film that will be made by 40 directors and still make a interesting and meaningful movie. It took years in development and collaboration for this film, Train Station, to be a reality.

Bringing in a lot of people for this project is no easy feat as it involves a lot of coordination and continuity. As it starts with an unnamed character in a Train station just described as "Man in Brown" goes on a series of decisions with varying outcomes in his future.

This is where creativity comes to play with the individual directors who would fit the story according to the place and culture. The non-linear style of story is not new but since there is the diversity involved, things becomes unexpected. Though some parts were very short, they still had something to share to the film.

Train station is brought with directors Xavier Agudo, Ryan Bajornas, Surya Balakrishnan, Nicola Barnaba, Petras Baronas, Juliane Block, Leroux Botha, Julia Caiuby, Gregory Cattell, Therese Cayaba, David Cerqueiro, Diane Cheklich, Violetta D'Agata, Felix A. Dausend,  Tiago P. de Carvalho,  Hesam Dehghani, Giovanni Esposito, Todd Felderstein, Ingrid Franchi, Yango Gonzalez, Vania Ivanova, Yosef Khouwes, George Korgianitis, Joycelyn Lee, Craig Lines, Michael Vincent Mercado, Athanasia Michopoulou, Daniel Montoya, Omer Moutasim, Marc Oberdorfer, Aditya Powar, Tony Pietra, Adam Ruszkowski, Andrés Sandoval, Guillem Serrano, Marty Shea, Nitye Sood, Wilson Stiner, Amirah M. Tajdin, Dzenan Tarakcija, Adrian Tudor, John Versical, Kresna D. Wicaksana, Rafael Yoshida, and Bruno Zakarewicz. To be part of CineLokal this May and available in SM Cinemas.

Deliberation time kids!

Show summary: 40 in 1 film

Technical Effects: 3 out of 5 stars (It uses so many elements but transitions were really good)

Plot: 4 out of 5 stars (Though there is a flood of ideas, the storytelling was good)

Acting and Actors: 4 out of 5 stars (Sorry but all actors are good and there are too many)

Pros:  solid plot, diversity, creative freedom
Cons: overflowing details which might be over looked, dark shots, some cliche and poor edits

Music and Soundtracks:  3 out for 5 stars (despite many contributions, music has a cohesive feel)

Overall: Rating 3.9 out of 5 stars (Not just focused with having a lot of  directors and actors but also making the movie )
