Tanglawan Festival Exhibit Launched

The City of San Jose Del Monte is one of the merging places that the province of Bulacan is proud of. It has quickly becoming a place of investment and potential with a lot of projects coming its way. And as it prospers by the day, the city and congressional government wants to make its citizens feel that their city is truly on the road to progress.

And recently the city launched its own festival, The Tanglawan festival to celebrate the bright and colorful sights, sounds, flavors, and people to the public. The festival was the idea of the couple public officials Congreswoman Florida Robes and Mayor Arthur Robes. Together along with the vision of the future of the city and lone district, they have set up many activities that include contest, a concert and recently an art exhibit.

The Art exhibit for the Tanglawan Festival was a showcase of the many visual art styles that interprets the city as the host of the yearly festival. With the theme in mind, artists from the city painted scenes of different scenarios like a simple impressionism, surrealism, and abstract. Though with the common theme, they were expressed in many was possible, some painted an almost blank canvas but when observed has a deeper meaning to it.

There are also scenes of the life of San Jose interpreted as a slice of life and made into an artistic style. These artworks made the mayor and congresswoman very happy with the talent that they have in their city.

There are also a lot of things that artists can get inspiration from the city. It boasts of a growing economy as it is becoming like an extension of Metro Manila with many companies putting investments and projects. Citizens can also be proud of the new facilities that are now being put up for them to use soon, with some already been completed and now utilized.

The couple public servants are very pleased with the outcome of the Tanglawan Festival as they cap it off with a concert that is free for all. And with art and culture being highlighted and given notice by the government, it can also be a future hub of aspiring artists who seeks to find a place of inspiration and a place to showcase their talents.

SM City San Jose Del Monte also expresses their thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Robes for these projects which also involves them to give back to the city and the citizens. They look forward to another exhibit and participation for the festival in the future.
