UDDS Holds 1st Regional Conference With New Officers.

Members and officers of UDDS or United Defenders for Democracy and Sovereignty which is a national group which are solid supporters of President Rodrigo Duterte have come together for a night of get together with leaders coming from all of the regions of the country.

Initially they were one of the first supporters of the president to pursue his candidacy which he responded and won in the last presidential elections. They also support the shift to a Fedal type of government which is also proposed in congress.

Present at this gathering is Secretary Silvestre Bello of the Department of Labor and Employment. He said that he is very happy to attend the event to see the loyal supporters of the president and all his programs. He also shared his gratitude for the efforts made by the group in terms of current projects. 

As a national organization, they have elected an executive committee that will oversee all regional chapters and also push for national reforms.

The newly elected national committee are comprised of:

National Treasurer

Vice President for External Affairs

To seal the appointment of all regional and national officers, they collectively had their oat taking with Secretary Bello leading the rites. And to cap off the event, they passionately sang "Ang Bayan Ko" which has been the anthem of patriotic Filipinos.  Now that the regional and national committees have convened, the goal of the group if to continue their agenda of pushing for reforms now that they have the government support.
