Honestly, we even jived with the songs as if it was a concert, well of course for the dance parts only. When it comes to the dramatic ballads, they helped make the emotions more intense. 

This is Naomi Ackie's big break as lead star and she did her part well, However I think the directing might need more flair to make it stand out more. Nevertheless, the film brings nostalgia with around 22 songs by Whitney as well as other foreshadowing leading to her unfortunate demise.
