DHL Express strengthens commitment to reducing carbon footprint with the addition of 22 electric vans to its delivery fleet in the Philippines

Electric vehicles now comprise 35% of its entire pickup and delivery fleet  

Manila, Philippines, 11 February 2025: DHL Express, the world’s leading international express service provider, has added 22 electric vans (EVs) to its last mile pickup and delivery fleet. With this integration, DHL Express now operates close to 70 EVs, which is 35% of its entire fleet, an increase from 24% last year. The electric vehicle fleet expansion signifies the company’s commitment to its fourth strategic bottom line named “Green Logistics of Choice” as it integrates sustainability into its Strategy 2030.

DHL Express is the only logistics company in the Philippines to deploy electric vehicles for last mile pick up and delivery 

DHL Express, the world’s leading international express service provider, has received the E-mobility Award for EV Technology Adoption at the 12th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit organized by the Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines (eVAP). The award was given to companies leading the charge for EV adoption in their local logistics operations. DHL Express, which began deploying EVs in 2021, continues to expand its electric fleet annually.

By using this service and applying the book and claim methodology, Brother can achieve a 30% reduction in its annual GHG emissions associated with international parcels.
