Four "Ben-Hur" Actors Get Own Character Posters‏

The four principal actors of Paramount Pictures' “Ben-Hur” are featured in the newly-released character posters for the film.

They are Jack Huston as Ben-Hur, a wronged man seeking revenge and redemption; Toby Kebbell who plays Messala, Ben-Hur’s adopted brother and best friend who sets him on his path for vengeance; Morgan Freeman as Sheik Ilderim, Ben-Hur's mentor and benefactor, eventually teaching him to race chariots and Rodrigo Santoro as Jesus Christ, who crosses paths with Ben-Hur at several points in the story.

"Ben-Hur's" Jack Huston Wins Rising Star of the Year Honors‏

Jack Huston, who will be seen this August in Paramount Pictures and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures’ “Ben-Hur,” received this year’s “CinemaCon® Rising Star of the Year Award.”

Huston was presented with this special honor at the “CinemaCon Big Screen Achievement Awards” ceremony held recently The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. CinemaCon is the official convention of The National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO).

“Already known throughout the world for his compelling performance in the critically acclaimed ‘Boardwalk Empire’, Huston is poised to break out on the big screen with his upcoming performance in this summer’s ‘Ben Hur,'” noted CinemaCon Managing Director Mitch Neuhauser. “The Huston family legacy is cherished in our industry, and it is a great honor for CinemaCon to be able to recognize Jack as he embarks on what we know is going to be a great career on the big screen.”

For the first time in so many long years, in this day and age, the art of written love letters from a man whose sensibilities women these days are looking for comes to the fore in the romantic endearing movie “The Longest Ride” based on Nicholas Sparks’ bestselling book of the same title.   Jack Huston stars with Oona Chaplin, Britt Robertson, Scott Eastwood and Alan Alda in “The Longest Ride,” which follows two intertwining love stories and the courage it takes to make marriages work in the long term. 

In 1940, we meet Ira (Huston), who works in his family’s store and is entranced by Ruth (Chaplin), an artistic Austrian immigrant.
