LRT-1 launches #LightRailTourism Photo Contest to inspire city travel

We all miss travelling – exploring destinations, revisiting favorite spots, and even discovering new ones. With this in mind, LRT-1 private operator Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) is launching #LightRailTourism, a photo contest to support the gradual recovery of local tourism within the metro, one click at a time.

Keeping in mind the minimum safety health protocols, the public is invited to share snapshots of interesting or unique spots in Metro Manila, which can be easily accessed by riding the LRT-1. 

You can choose from three categories: #LRT1Mamasyal for destinations and attractions, #LRT1MagFoodTrip for the delicious and mouthwatering food from the city, or #LRT1MagShopping for the best bargains and finds from different shopping centers.

Upload the photo on your personal Facebook account, add a caption, and don’t forget to include the hashtags #LightRailTourism, #ikotMNL, #LRT1, and the hashtag specifying its category. Include a location and tag LRMC’s Facebook page. Make sure it is a public post too!

Vivo celebrates Chinese New Year with the CNY Photo Contest

To celebrate the Chinese New Year this 2018, Vivo launched a special photo contest but first involving a few well-known lifestyle bloggers for a first taste. Held last February 3 and 4 at Binondo in Manila, Vivo invited 18 lifestyle bloggers forn eventful photowalk around the oldest China town in the world. Bloggers were asked to capture photos that embody the Chinese culture may it be the food, the ambiance, the traditional lucky ornaments, or Binondo’s old charm as a whole.  

Voting for the Top 3 ‘Makulay Ang Buhay Photo’ begins Monday

Beginning Monday (September 17), netizens may participate in selecting the three grand winners of GMA Network’s “Makulay Ang Buhay” photo submission promo.

To highlight the Network’s latest station ID -- “Makulay Ang Buhay” -- GMA launched the“Makulay Ang Buhay Promo,” a photo submission contest wherein participants submitted original photographs depicting the “colorful” moments in their lives.

Discover Your Passion at THE ISLANDS By Vista Land

Though we were not the actual participants, we went around the properties to see the beauty and fun within the Islands. With hectares of land with great landscapes and homes to facilities, there will be no reason for the photographers to capture moments and breathtaking backgrounds.

Caribe at the Islands is inspired with the tropical living as its name came from the Caribbean.  While Amalfi is more European with a high influence of Spanish feel and architecture. There is also  Camella Homes Dasma offers affordable family living varieties with great amenities and location. There is also St. Paul College Islands Park in the middle of the Islands properties, thus making school not very far from home. The Islands Commercial and Mango Grove is also a great place for recreation and events and situated in the middle of them all.

Among all of the great properties, there is indeed a place for everyone, for small and practical families, people who want to have a feel of European living, or even a tropical one can be found here. With a nearby school, near to major roads and also commercial establishments soon to open, it a perfect getaway every time you go home.  As I am actually considering of investing a property in the south, the Islands is my top pick!
