SM Cinema teams up with Marvel Studios for the biggest Marvel Movie Marathon in the country!

To kick-off Marvel Studios’ 10th year mark in the enterainment scene, SM Cinema joined forces with The Walt Disney Company Philippines to bring back not one but 16 Marvel Studios films in theaters for the most ambitious movie exhibition of the year, the Marvel Movie Marathon!  

The Marvel Movie Marathon features 16 of the biggest titles from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) films namely: Iron Man, Captain America: The First Avenger, Thor, The Avengers, Thor: The Dark World, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Ant-Man, Captain America: Civil War, Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Thor: Ragnarok, Black Panther, Ant-Man and The Wasp, and Avengers: Infinity War.

Marvel movie buffs can purchase a ticket at PhP 100.00 per movie or an all-movie bundle for the 16 films at only PhP 1,200.00. You can also have a chance to secure advance tickets of the highly-anticipated Marvel Studios film, Captain Marvel which will be groundbreaking in theaters in March 2019.

Tom Holland Cast as the Web-Slinger, Jon Watts to Direct the Next Spider-Man Adventure

Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios are proud to announce that after a full worldwide casting search, Tom Holland will play Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the next Spider-Man film, in theaters in IMAX and 3D on July 28, 2017. The film will be directed by Jon Watts, director of “Cop Car,” the upcoming thriller that made its debut earlier this year at the Sundance Film Festival.

Marvel and Sony Pictures, and producers Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal conducted an extensive search for both the actor and the director. The studios and producers were impressed by Holland’s performances in “The Impossible,” “Wolf Hall,” and the upcoming “In the Heart of the Sea,” and by a series of complex screen tests. Following Marvel’s tradition of working with the brightest next wave of directors, Watts also went through multiple meetings with Feige, Pascal, and the studio, before winning the job.

MUSIC LYF: Brand New Script Music Video "Superheroes" Out Now

THE SCRIPT has premiered the video for Superheroes, their brand new single, and the first to be released from their highly anticipated fourth album NO SOUND WITHOUT SILENCE. Directed by Vaughan Arnell, the video was shot in Johannesburg, South Africa. The three-piece were ex-tremely thankful to all those they met whilst filming in one of the most beautiful countries in the world, and have left with some everlasting memories.

The Script’s fourth album, No Sound Without Silence, is the sound of a band firing on all cylinders and channeling the momentum of their last, rocket-powered campaign. The trio of songwriters had so many ideas while touring last year, they were busting out of the specially built mobile recording studio they’d taken with them on the tour bus. They finished touring #3 at the end of last year, took a scant couple of weeks off, then quickly re-entered their studios in London and Dublin to begin work on the highly anticipated No Sound Without Silence.
