The Magical Baby Elephant Comes to Life in First Trailer for Disney's "Dumbo"

Watch the teaser trailer for Tim Burton’s all-new live-action “Dumbo,” coming to Philippine cinemas March 2019.

About “Dumbo”

From Disney and visionary director Tim Burton, the all-new grand live-action adventure “Dumbo” expands on the beloved classic story where differences are celebrated, family is cherished and dreams take flight. Circus owner Max Medici (Danny DeVito) enlists former star Holt Farrier (Colin Farrell) and his children Milly (Nico Parker) and Joe (Finley Hobbins) to care for a newborn elephant whose oversized ears make him a laughingstock in an already struggling circus. But when they discover that Dumbo can fly, the circus makes an incredible comeback, attracting persuasive entrepreneur V.A. Vandevere (Michael Keaton), who recruits the peculiar pachyderm for his newest, larger-than-life entertainment venture, Dreamland. Dumbo soars to new heights alongside a charming and spectacular aerial artist, Colette Marchant (Eva Green), until Holt learns that beneath its shiny veneer, Dreamland is full of dark secrets.

Incredibles 2 - Worth The Wait After 14 Years?

I would remember that the first movie came out while I am still in high school. Pixar was already making waves every year with their animations and it was thought to be a cliche to have a superhero animated film. But as it proved to be a worthy movie not just for kids but also for everyone in the family.

Now after 14 years, a sequel has finally been answered by Disney and Pixar. This highly anticipated second part Incredibles 2 will take off where the last film ended, fighting the underminer. But of course with that long gap, there are huge improvements in terms of graphics, design, and technology which brings more intense action to its characters.

Now that they are back in the city, the only problem is that they are not considered as heroes, rather supers are considered illegal. Thus the family are forced to not to use their powers or else face the consequences. However with the help of Deavor Corporation, Elastigirl/ Helen Parr becomes their model hero to get support and lead the cause for legalization of supers. However, Mr. Incredible/Bob Parr struggles to be a home dad to his children. Amidst all these, a new villain rises with the name of Screenslaver.

Elastigirl Takes the Lead in Disney-Pixar's "Incredibles 2"

Helen Parr, known in the Super world as Elastigirl (voiced by Holly Hunter), hung up her supersuit to raise the family with husband Bob, leaving their crime-fighting days behind them. But when she’s tapped to lead a campaign to bring the Supers back into the spotlight in Disney-Pixar’s “Incredibles 2,” she finds she can still bend, stretch and twist herself into any shape needed to solve the trickiest of mysteries. In short, she’s still got it.

Jack-Jack Powers Up in Disney-Pixar's "Incredibles 2"

Jack-Jack Parr, the baby of the family in Disney-Pixar’s new action-adventure “Incredibles 2”, likes to sit back with a bottle and a good story. Well-versed in gibberish with a penchant for throwing food, Jack-Jack seems like a typical toddler, but he just might turn out to be the most powerful Parr in the household.

Brothers-In-Arms: Han Meets Chewie for the First Time in "Solo: A Star Wars Story"

They may be an odd couple, but the partnership of Han Solo and Chewbacca has made its indelible mark in cinema, inspiring generations and influencing our ideas on friendship, loyalty and courage.

With the release of Lucasfilm’s “Solo: A Star Wars Story,” audiences are once again able to revisit this iconic male duo and revel at the infectious dynamic between a Wookie and scruffy-looking scoundrel.

Solo: A Star Wars Story - Han's History Finally Revealed!

Like the Avengers, A solo Solo movie (pun intended) has been long been awaited and 2018 was indeed the year of patience with the most favorite space smuggler/pilot finally reveals his origins. Solo: A Star Wars Story may be in between episode VIII and IX, yet it is a good filler while we await the next installment of the space opera.

Casting Han was probably the hardesr task for the creative team to do as it should pass the taste of fans as well to really portray the young Han Solo originally played by Harrison Ford. Initially there were rumors of having Scott Eastwood but it was given to Alden Ehrenreich (Hail!, Ceasar!) which many at first were very hesitant.

But along Alden, they also made interesting casting like Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones), Donald Glover (The Martian), Woody Harrelson (The Hunger Games) and they even have Paul Bettany (Avengers Infinity War) too! They play Qi'ra, Lando Carlissian, Tobias Beckett and Dryden Vos respectively. I also find the new droid L3-37 as a fun droid voiced by Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

McQueen is a world champion racer who’s riding high with five Piston-Cup wins under his hood. Suddenly, he finds himself faced with a new generation of racers who threaten not only his dominance in the sport—but the confidence that got him there. Determined to get back to the pole position, the #95 must decide if his love for racing is enough to fuel the comeback of his life.

Armie Hammer's Jackson Storm: Fast, Sleek, Ready to Win in "Cars 3"

Armie Hammer (The Social Network, The Man from U.N.C.L.E.) breathes life to Jackson Storm, a frontrunner in the next generation of racers, in Disney-Pixar's No.1 US box-office hit Cars 3 (in Philippine cinemas July 26, 2017).

In the film, Storm’s quiet confidence and cocky demeanor are off-putting—but his unmatched speed threatens to redefine the sport. Trained on high-tech simulators that are programmed to perfect technique and maximize velocity, Jackson Storm is literally built to be unbeatable—and he knows it.

“Jackson Storm epitomizes the next-gen racers,” says Armie Hammer. “They’re young, brash and confident. Jackson Storm is newer and faster. He can calculate the drag coefficient on the spot. It’s hard to compete with that.”

“Jackson Storm is Lightning McQueen’s nemesis—the film’s baddie,” adds Jay Ward, Cars franchise creative director. “Though he isn’t really a true villain. He represents what’s happening in racing—both in the movie and in real life. A lot of young racers getting into motorsport have more experience playing videogames and simulators than on an actual track. And they are winning races.”
