“Being back with Martin and Will is just the absolute best,” says Vanessa Hudgens about being back on the Bad Boys set with Will Smith and Martin Lawrence for this year’s Bad Boys: Ride or Die. Hudgens first joined the franchise as Kelly in 2020’s Bad Boys for Life.

Will Smith and Martin Lawrence – cinema’s bad boys of action-comedy – are back again in Bad Boys: Ride or Die. 

“It’s magical to see them both together,” says Bilall Fallah, who directs with his partner Adil El Arbi, and are best-known as simply Adil & Bilall. “It’s unbelievable, the chemistry they have. It’s always surprising when you’re behind the monitors directing the scene and they come up with this genius golden humor – you sit back, relax, and see them perform.” When that magic happens, he says, his job is easy. “They’re the best duo on the big screen, and very unique.”

Will Smith and Martin Lawrence hosted the “On The Run Cadet Academy” at the Porsche Experience Center in Los Angeles on May 17, in anticipation of the upcoming release of Bad Boys: Ride or Die in June.

Adil & Billal: Two Hip Guys Direct "Bad Boys for Life"

To helm Columbia Pictures’ new action adventure Bad Boys for Life, producers Jerry Bruckheimer and Chad Oman brought aboard two young filmmakers, Moroccan-born Belgian directors Adil and Bilall (Black, Gangsta, FX’s Snowfall) who themselves personify the Bad Boys vibe.

Oman recalls how he and Bruckheimer became aware of the talented partners. “About four years ago, we screened a movie called Black, an action-crime drama about gang warfare in Brussels, which Adil and Bilall had directed, and we loved it. The film had so much edge, texture and beauty. It’s very emotional but also intense. We loved their work on it, and always kept them in mind for a new Bad Boys film.”

New Latino Actor Lands Villain Role in "Bad Boys for Life"

British born Latino actor Jacob Scipio (upcoming Without Remorse) portrays the main villain in Columbia Pictures’ new action thriller Bad Boys for Life, opposite Will Smith and Martin Lawrence.

In the film, Smith and Lawrence’s characters Mike and Marcus, certainly have their work cut out for them. Their prey – and vice versa – is a beautiful criminal overlord from Mike’s past, Isabel, along with her strong-willed and lethal son.

While Isabel was imprisoned, she gave birth to Armando – now a fully-grown assassin (Scipio). Upon her release, she works with Armando to make sure there’s no escape for those who wronged her, turning Armando into a spiteful weapon.

Brand New Posters Up for "Bad Boys for Life," "Fantasy Island"

Columbia Pictures has just shared the new posters for two of its highly anticipated films of the next year -- the action-thriller Bad Boys for Life starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, and the horror-suspense Fantasy Island from Blumhouse.

Check out the one-sheets below and watch Bad Boys for Life in Philippine cinemas on January 22, followed by Fantasy Island in February 2020.

Both films are distributed by Columbia Pictures, local office of Sony Pictures Releasing International.

Paramount Pictures’ new action-thriller Gemini Man utilized the High Frame Rate (HFR) technology designed to dramatically enhance the movie-going experience for audiences.

Director Ang Lee shot the film in 120 frames per second (as opposed to the standard 24 fps), as well as in 4K 3D, which creates incredible visual and aural immediacy for the audience.

Disney’s live-action remake of Aladdin reimagines a magical tale for the new generation

Starting this May 22, dreams and wishes are once again coming true as Disney brings the live-action adaptation of its iconic feature film Aladdin. With the animated classic endearing itself to kids and kids-at-heart back in 1992, the movie’s music and story now comes to life on the big screen for the new generation.

Almost two decades after its first theatrical release, the Disney classic gets a much-awaited reimagining with renowned film director and screenwriter Guy Ritchie (Sherlock Holmes, The Man from U.N.C.L.E) at the helm. He lends his flair for fast-paced and exciting action to tell the adventures of Aladdin and Princess Jasmine in the port city of Agrabah.

Joining him in the production is Emmy Award®-winning set designer Gemma Jackson who took charge of bringing the Sultan’s kingdom to life. Inspired by the different elements and architectures of Middle East and South Asia, Jackson was able to portray the real-life Agrabah as a vibrant city of colors, cultures, and sounds.

Casting for “Aladdin,” the live-action adaptation of the studio’s animated classic, is complete and production is currently underway at Longcross Studios outside London.
