“Ride or die, for real,” says Martin Lawrence of his real-life friendship with Will Smith. “Bad Boys: Ride or Die” opens in cinemas June 5

Will Smith and Martin Lawrence – cinema’s bad boys of action-comedy – are back again in Bad Boys: Ride or Die. 

“It’s magical to see them both together,” says Bilall Fallah, who directs with his partner Adil El Arbi, and are best-known as simply Adil & Bilall. “It’s unbelievable, the chemistry they have. It’s always surprising when you’re behind the monitors directing the scene and they come up with this genius golden humor – you sit back, relax, and see them perform.” When that magic happens, he says, his job is easy. “They’re the best duo on the big screen, and very unique.”

Angelica Panganiban and Carlo Aquino join fans in ME during “Exes Baggage” premiere

It is finally the weekend, and the overseas Filipinos in Dubai were excited to catch the film “Exes Baggage” which stars Angelica Panganiban and Carlo Aquino. Their movie day was made special after The Filipino Channel (TFC) and the Black Sheep organized a movie premiere with Panganiban and Aquino at the Reel Cinema in Dubai Mall last October 6.

As the love team popularly known as CarGel appeared before them, the hundreds of fans in the cinema cannot contain their excitement as their idols waved and gave them a warm greeting. The international premiere was exclusively held in the Middle East, which happened to be the first movie premiere screening in the region and Aquino’s first time to have an international screening.

Overseas Filipinos inspire ABS-CBN executives in recent trip to UAE

ABS-CBN executives touched by the stirring stories and warm welcome of Filipinos in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Initially driven by a goal to personally thank partners for decades of support to ABS-CBN in the Middle East, top executives of the largest Filipino-owned media and entertainment network found themselves instead at the receiving end of an overflowing display of gratitude from overseas Filipinos (OFs) in their recent visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The prelude to his foray into the music industry started early for Moophs or Chris Lopez in real life.   “Moophs” was into guitar first before he started exploring the world of EDM.  He studied at the early age of seven at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and clinched a Bachelor of Music in Classical Guitar Performance from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
