Their movie day was made special after The Filipino Channel (TFC) and the Black Sheep organized a movie premiere with Panganiban and Aquino at the Reel Cinema in Dubai Mall last October 6.

As the love team popularly known as CarGel appeared before them, the hundreds of fans in the cinema cannot contain their excitement as their idols waved and gave them a warm greeting. The international premiere was exclusively held in the Middle East, which happened to be the first movie premiere screening in the region and Aquino’s first time to have an international screening.

ABS-CBN Films’ newest film production brand, Black Sheep, brings to viewers the reunion project of Angelica Panganiban and Carlo Aquino through the film “Exes Baggage”, screening worldwide via TFC at the Movies.

ABS-CBN Films Managing Director Olivia Lamasan explains that Black Sheep is the film production brand that will cater to the new generation of audiences, in an article published last June 2018 by ABS-CBN News. Star Cinema opens 2018 with a bang as it puts together two of the most celebrated actresses in the Philippine entertainment industry today - Judy Ann Santos and Angelica Panganiban - in the heartwarming and laugh-out-loud dramedy “Ang Dalawang Mrs. Reyes”, which will be screened in key countries worldwide via TFC@theMovies from January to February.

“Ang Dalawang Mrs. Reyes” marks the comeback of Santos and Panganiban on the big screen. This is Santos’s grand comeback to mainstream cinema after her last full-length movie Kusina, an official entry to the 12th Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival in 2016.

“I was praying for a good project that will challenge me and surprise the viewers. I believe this project fulfilled that for me”, Santos says.

Bright Bulb Productions Makes First Trending Music Video

 From being actors, John Prats, Angelica Panganiban and Sam Milby wants to venture into making video productions of their own. They call themselves Bright Bulb Productions. The group is brought to life by friendship of the three actors wanting to do something new along with their careers.

John makes his directorial debut for the music video of "Malaya" by Moira Dela Torre which has topped many charts but never had their own video to make it to video charts countdown. With the production company giving a visual narrative of the heart clenching narrative. The video has reached the top trending spot in YouTube.

I rarely review Filipino films, not that I don't want to but there are less invitation to see them compared with foreign films. But when it comes to movies that I am looking forward to watch because of their quality and critical response, I do make an effort to watch them and do a review for that movie. Well this love month, Star Cinema got Cinema One Originals "That Thing Called Tadhana" starring Angelica Panganiban and JM De Guzman over to a bigger distribution.

Known to be an all-out love story, it however reflects realistic conversations of today's generation on how they deal and talk about love and heartbreak. With the elements of comedic lines and sarcasm that we Filipinos use to make us realize our faults and turn them into moments of laughter.
