On its 19th Anniversary, Star Cinema proudly brings back the Piolo Pascual in a new movie that boasts of a new genre! Yes, “Every Breath You Take” is so special! It deviates from the usual feel-good romance-comedy movies of the past. “Every Breath You Take” presents a new take in telling a love story as it introduces the “comedy-romance” genre! Meaning, higit pa sa pagpapa-kilig ang ihahandog ng pelikula kundi ang pag-kiliti sa ating lahat para tumawa! Laugh and love ang feel ng pelikula! Comedy-Romance is the new romance-comedy! Sounds super exciting di ba? 

  

This is also the first time that we’re going to see Piolo in this kind of role. ‘Yung hindi lang nagpapakilig kundi magpapatawa din! It’s not like Piolo will do slapstick comedy, but it’s more of situational ang comedic attack ng pelikula at karakter n’ya. Piolo plays Leo in “Every Breath You Take”, a career-driven playboy who believes that love will never be a priority for him. Leo lives for no one. He always gets what he wants. Linggo-linggo kung magpalit ng girlfriend! And love is the one thing he doesn’t want! Bagay na bagay nga ang role ni Piolo sa kanya, hindi lamang physically kundi siguradong gugulatin n’ya tayo sa kanyang husay sa pagganap sa isang kakaibang role! At hindi lang ‘yan, being the award-winning singer that he is, Piolo also sings the theme song of “Every Breath You Take”, isang kanta na pinasikat ng very popular band na The Police back in the 80’s! 

  

Piolo is undoubtedly the prime star of Star Magic, ABS-CBN’s talent management arm, because he is bankable, extremely popular and very talented! Piolo is Star Magic’s pride! As Star Magic celebrates its 20th year, they couldn’t help but be exceptionally proud to have Piolo in their fold!

Directed by Mae Cruz, “Every Breath You Take” also stars Carlos Agassi, Frenchie Dy, Janus del Prado, Ketchup Eusebio, Smokey Manaloto, Joross Gamboa, Ryan Bang, Wendy Valdez, Ryan Eigenmann, Cacai Bautista, Regine Angeles and Nova Villa. The movie will hold its grand red carpet premiere on May 15 (Tuesday), 6PM at the SM Megamall Cinema 9.
