Boracay's Congressman Haresco Now Ready To Pursue Promises

It may be a provincial seat but the second district of Aklan is a prime location as has Boracay island as one of its jurisdiction, and after the rehabilitation of the island, tourism is again booming along with the new changes. Elected again with a landslide victory as congressman of the district, Nonong Haresco feels the big responsibility to protect its citizens along with the tourists who brings the island to life.

But along with Malay which Boracay is loacted, Haresco also serves the citizens of the towns of  Buruanga, Ibajay, Lezo, Makato, Malinao, Nabas, Numancia, and Tangalan. Collectively the district is almost half of the province and its income from tourism has been its driving force. But despite the vast area and business opportunities, he looks on reforms and projects that will help the locals to rise up and have their own businesses to help improve their lives and their families.

Sandy Andolong in full support of husband Christopher de Leon’s election bid

Veteran actress and “Pahiram ng Sandali” star Sandy Andolong said, in an interview on the set of the GMA primetime series, that even though she had reservations at first about her husband’s entry into politics, she is nonetheless in full support of his bid to be the congressman of the second district of the province of Batangas.

But of course alam ko naman na very passionate siya [Christopher] sa desire niya na makatulong at makapagsilbi sa mga kababayan niya, kaya I am supporting him through and through,” said the actress.

Blah blah blogs is Major Major back!

Yes, the long wait is over, as I come back to personal blogging that I thought I have forgotten due to my busy schedule. But alas I am here again to speak my heart and mind out about the things that happened to us and to the whole world. It was really incidental but I was really compelled to make such an article after two major (major) events that happened recently that actually stole the attention of the world.

Know Your Leaders Before Shading That Ballot!

  • I guess its time that my blog could make a difference, but for the record even I have my own set of candidates for this elections, my instinct as a Filipino says that I could make a difference while being non-partisan. This by voters' education via my blog. For now I am working on the project KNOW YOUR LEADERS, a segment that will give a comprehensive and unbiased profiling of the national candidates. I know its a tough job and election is almost around the corner, but I feel that I could at least make a difference in giving the candidates a fair share of informing them to the public. Sounds patriotic? I don't think so, Its just my duty even though I may be struggling also. Just like JFK said "Ask not what you country can do for you, but what you can do for your country".
  • I guess this will also shed light to undecided voters to know about them before shading the ballots. And even this project is for national candidates, I think it may take a lot of work in research and verification. So far, I think it would also help me in my decision too. I would just ask is support and valuable information are also highly appreciated.
  • Will start posting in a few days...
