California Pizza Kitchen in Binondo!

The Binondo/Divisoria area is becoming a new food hotspot with the opening of California Pizza Kitchen at Lucky Chinatown Mall. This is their lucky eighth restaurant and is also opening more soon. They bring the great flavors of California especially their famous Pizza (obviously), and also new additions to their menu (see some of the dishes on FudFyt Blog). Also with a whole new look for their restaurant is something refreshing and cozy like your in a summer vacation somewhere along the California coastline.

With also a number of their customers who dine in at their their other branches are Chinoys from Binondo, it would become more convenient for them to enjoy their favorite pizza reataurant without going beyond Binondo.

Even with reinventing some of the looks and adding new dishes, they still keep the quality and flavor that made them a foodies favorite. I have not yet been to California, but it sure has this ambiance of the being there. With also a wide variety of dishes inspired with the diversity of culture in the state would always give you a reason to come back for more.

By the way, they are also offering great deals for their menu which is perfect for individual and group meals so check out their website and facebook page now.

Happening at Venice Piazza Mckinley Hill, Bonifacio
Global City on November 17, 2012

Are you the Running Man? Futuretainment Inc. redefines running at Venice Piazza, Mckinley Hill, Bonifacio Global City on November 17, 2012. Imagine traversing rolling terrain and hurdling a thrilling obstacle course designed by only the most exacting adventure enthusiasts. The Peak Attack is sure to give you a kick-start, quite literally, as you scale a mound of earth. If it isn’t a strong grip, leg strength should get you to the next challenge.

Next, you have to lift yourself enough to grab the Monkey Bars, all the while keeping a firm hold to keep from falling into muddy water. This should take you back to your childhood days at the playground, though the feat is far more than child’s play. If you survive the Monkey Bars, you’ll feel the thrill to the finish drawing closer at the Tunnel Crawl. Conquer your claustrophobia and try to get ahead of the game. The fun trail continues to the Wall Balance, where you’ll find yourself negotiating a perilous edge, towards the Log Hurdles. Simulating military boot camp, this obstacle should reveal how much time you’ve spent working on your legs at the gym, more than just biceps and chest. Your agility and flexibility are also put to the test. For the finale, the Net Crawl shall get you inching your way through, between an unwieldy net, and mud.

REEL DEAL: The Three Stooges - Will Sasso Q&A

WILL SASSO Q&A: THE BALD STOOGE KNOWN AS CURLY

The all-new motion picture, THE THREE STOOGES, in theaters October 24, is a contemporary take on a trio of time-honored boneheads. The film recreates the classic and iconic Stooge sound effects (including "boinks," finger snaps, and palm claps), haircuts and other Stooge-isms- -- while interweaving them with modern-day attitudes, situations and pop culture references.

In the film, we meet the Stooges as newborn "angels from heaven." That's how the nuns characterize the three toddlers left at their orphanage. But when one of the nuns, Sister Mary-Mengele, receives a fierce eye-poke from Moe, which catapults her into the next county, they suspect the new arrivals are anything but heavenly.

Now, years later, their Three Stooges have left the nuns bruised, battered and bewildered. Even worse, it looks like the orphanage will be forced to close its doors due to financial difficulties.  But Larry, Curly and Moe, employed as the foster home's inept maintenance men, are determined to come to the rescue. Their quest: raise $830,000 in just 30 days, or risk losing the only home they've ever known.

REEL DEAL: V/H/S REVIEW

A group of criminals scour a secluded country home for a mysterious videotape, and bear witness to scenes of unimaginable terror in this found-footage-style anthology horror film featuring segments from Glenn McQuaid (I Sell the Dead), Ti West (House of the Devil), Joe Swanberg (Silver Bullets), David Bruckner (The Signal), Adam Wingard (You're Next, and Radio Silence).

It seemed like a simple job; all they needed to do was enter the home, find the videotape, and deliver it to their boss. But from the moment they arrived, a sinister tension descended. Gaining access to the house, the young thugs discover a rotting corpse amidst a collection of vintage television sets, and stockpiles of VHS tapes.

Somewhere amidst the stacks is the tape they seek, but with each new video they watch, the dread continues to build. The sights that they witness are too horrible for words, but the greatest shock is yet to come.

DENR, FEU and WWF Launch Tamaraw Month with Campaign to Double Tamaraw Numbers by 2020

Ten thousand tamaraw (Bubalus mindorensis) once grazed and bred throughout the island of Mindoro. Sadly, the population has taken severe blows – from a crippling outbreak of cattle-killing Rinderpest in the 1930s to incessant land clearing and poaching. It is thought that only a few hundred hold out atop the grassy slopes and forest patches of Mts. Iglit, Baco, Aruyan, Bongabong, Calavite and Halcon in Mindoro.

Differentiated from the larger and more docile carabao (Bubalus bubalis carabanesis), the stocky tamaraw bears distinctive V-shaped horns, a shorter tail and a shaggy coat of chocolate to ebony fur. Adults stand four feet tall and average 300 kilograms.
